I get calls from this number all the time...I don't answer them though.  Thanks rusky (from 11 Jan 2008) for your great advice...I think I'll try that "What color underwear are you wearing" technique of yours to hopefully scare off some of these annoying callers.  By the way, thanks for the good laugh also!

I have gotten these calls frequently lately on our home phone. Sunday I decided to call it back and Verizon Broadband answered. I don't even have Broadband. Tonight the number called again and I told my hubby to answer and tell them I wasn't interested in Broadband BUT...this time it was the Republican party calling. What can I do??? Seems several places use the 0's

To fight spoofing, how about either a law or a phone company policy to block any spoofed numbers. Restrict who can obtain a number that doesn't show up on caller ID to legit reasons such as in domestic abuse cases.

the person kept callin my cell phone. one day i answer by accident and no one said anything so i quickly hung up and they have't called since.

I used to get these calls at home and had an announcing caller id so imagine how annoying it was to hear that repeated sometimes 3 -4 times a day.  Today I got this call on my cell phone, but did not answer.  When I pressed redial, the call was answered by Verizon who is my service provider so know it wasn't them, but in other words you can't press redial and get the call to go through.

i always get this text whenever i miss a call from my ex girlfriend (she calls obsessively) and for every missed call a text with her number in it appears. does anyone know why? and its just her number too. noone elses.

I've been received calls from 000-000-0000 for the past 4 weeks, usually once a day on my cell phone, i don't answer, why waste my minutes.  They come in at various times of the day and there was one day i received 10 calls.

This idiot pone number has been calling me for a while now.  I finally picked it up, but it was an automated message that said, "Hello!  This is your captain speaking."  I yelled, "NOOB!" then hung up.

I have been getting calls all week from the 1-000-000-0000.  I never pick up calls that don't list the callers name. This number worried me as I thought it might be one of those long distance scams. Often when I get a call that comes up unknowen caller I answer then hang up immediately to avoid having the call go to my answering machine. Thanks for the info on this number.   8-20-09

A text message from 000-000-0000 clamiming to be his dead mother?

I received 2 unsolicited calls on my cell this morning at 000-000-0000 discovering after answering it was <b>MOVEON.ORG </b>asking me if I wanted to go to a rally supporting the public option. It was seem like if they were straightforward and courteous, that the caller ID would announce who they were before I answered instead of 000-000-0000.

Auto Dialers still usually show up on your phone with a valid number that mostly is busy when you call back.  The ONLY auto dialer that I have seen with all 0's is Blockbuster.  It may just be like someone else said and be like that because of all these companies feeling that even though OUR economy is suffering and OUR people need jobs these companies outsource call centers to foreign countries!  It's a shame - but this is part of it as well.

They aren't all blockbuster.  Blockbuster doesnt have my number.

Yeah I just got a call from 000-000-0000, I ignored it and listened to the Recorders notations, well it was nothing. I hate freaking machines that mess with you on a daily basis.

I have been getting calls from 000-000-0000 number and no one answers me when i pick it. It is annoying when they call late and i am trying to sleep. AHHH... Can you be removed from their list somehow?

000-000-0000 also 123-456-7890 calls twice a day even on the weekends.. never picked up but sometimes my finger is on the button and ready to go off.. time to take this issue to the parliament.. lol as if..
anyhow.. if anyone has a solution how to to end this please share the info
