same thing happened to me. the recording doesnt really sound like and its convienently clipped in the beginning

Its a criminal act and falls within the ambit of extortion for anyone to force your hand into payment and to use contacts on your list to threaten for same ....Ignore the bunch of idiots!!!!!

Called this number, also no mention of it being recorded, no payment upfront option, also hung up , now being threatened, did anyone ever pay them, ive spoken to a lawyer and he has told me to ignore them as its extortion

I have reported my issue to the SAPS, you are correct by saying its extortion, also they have no right without your consent to record the conversation,threaten you,to add they also need to state the conversation is being recorded. if this was a legit company why do they call you from a cell phone, they have no website, they are rude and abrupt,  The police are already looking into this, They threaten to take people to court for less than 2000 rand, There lawyers fees will cost them thousands and i can tell you now from speaking to multiple lawyers, a friends mother is a judge and she has even stated she will tear them apart if they appeared in front of her, they will loose the case, and then you sue them. Ignore these people, block them, or ask them for there company registration details, address, and you go with the police to fetch the invoice, they send people a invoice over whatsapp, come on what professional company does that

Yes I'd like to know about this.. I was calling a car dealership and the lady picked up, I heard nothing saying yes and when I caught on I said no where are you based and she put the phone down!! When called back by a Cindy and someone else.. I asked what is your address and webpage they don't exist quoted by her. They sent you threatening messages about paying via sms through a personal cellphone numbers... She insists as I said yes that was permission
