Got a call for the first time from this phone number made up of all 1s.  Popped up as Spam Risk.  Caller claimed to be Kim at 1-888-416-1989 from EZ Capital, calling in reference to mail that they supposedly sent to my address and that I needed to contact them IMMEDIATELY about a financing offer "for my company" that OMG WILL EXPIRE SOOOOOON.  Right.  -_-

Obviously a scam.  The scammers spoofed a number that they probably thought would piqué peoples curiosity.  But they are too stupid to realize that any phone number that has a 1 or a 0 at the start of either the area code or the prefix is not a valid phone number in North America.
Do not bother to call "Kim" back.

I’ve gotten multiple calls from the number but unlike others, they haven’t left any voicemails. Obviously you can’t call it back because it’s an invalid number. My phone will only ring 2 or 3 times before they hang up.

I have received two calls from this number in the past week, Both claim to be from PECO ( our local electric company) They ask for me by name and then state that they have a disconnect order for my  electrical connection in 35 minutes. I reply "Please do.! Unplug me!" Both times. They try to insist that this is for real. But I hang up as they keep talking. The first time they called I was at a red light and the second time I was just leaving to go to my sister's house to cut her grass. I did not have time to play along.  Next time if I have the time I'll play along just to see how far they go. They must think at since I am 67 that I am gullible.

That's not a legit number in the USA. If you see an Impossible Number in your CID, don't even talk to crooks like this. Let the call ring out. Talking to them just keeps them trying - sometimes to scam, sometimes just to harass you since you made fun of them.
