I too received 2 calls from this number.  When I answered them both, all that was on the other line was about 2.5 seconds of music and then a disconnection.

Received call and on ID it said "JerseyCity, NJ, hit redial and recording came on saying number has been disconnected....

Got a call from this number the last 2 days.  The message they leave says the guys name is Adan and he is calling from Higher Right to verify employment for a Mark Meschino.  I have never had an employee or worked with anyone with that name.  The number they tell me to call back is 1-866-827-8143.  x1137

i am from another state and i get 1-201-200-9999 calling me all the time.  I called an operator and she told me if u call the # back and says its disconnected its usually a pay.   I never answered it. Now i c I am not yhe only one. Dont answer them. SCAMS

Didn't take the call, but I think it has something to do with being on a Starbucks public network!!!!

I think next time they call me I will tell them I live at 555 Bite Me Ave. I have only received this call once but did not answer. I never do from numbers I don't recognize.

Caller:  "Are you the person who is responsible for ConEd Gas Bill at 1 River Plaza, Unit 11?"
Me:  "Excuse me?  who are you?  what organization are you calling from?  the address is partially sounding but not my address (I didn't offer the correct address)"
Caller:  "I just want to know if you use ConEd Gas service"
Me:  "Are you from ConEd, if so, you should know that I live in an apartment complex that no individual unit pays its own gas bill, who are you?"
Caller:  "Do you use gas? I will call you back on Monday"
Me:  "No, don't call me, let me speak to your supervisor and take me off of your calling list"
Caller:  "I will look it up and call you back on Monday"
Me:  "No, DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN or I will sue you (he hung up before I delieved the part about filing a law suit)

Keep getting calls at my business from this number.  I answer they don't respond.  Guess they don't like the business greeting.

Just got a call from "Alvin" (heavy Indian accent) saying they were from "Fed Ex" calling to verify my address for a package to be shipped. I am not expecting any packages, and Fed Ex has delivered many packages in the past without incident.  

Within 5 minutes "Alvin" called back to try to milk me for more info and got a nice piece of his [***] chewed for calling in spite of my number being on the do not call registry.  

This has scam written all over it!

Heavy Indian accent says his name is Henry & I have been chosen by Team-Mobile to get some... I cut him off & told him that we are on the DNC list & he is going to get fined if he calls me. He apologised and hung up. And then the phone rang again 10 minutes later form the same number, so I ignored it.

Received a call yesterday from this number, and talked to a man with a heavy Indian accent.  I was told that "your computer has sent an error message and all I need you to do is to log into to your computer." I asked him if I sounded like a complete idiot and hung up on him. I see that many other's have received the same call!!

they have called me as well, and they kept calling us. my daughter talked to them first and let them have access to our computer. they were trying to charge us for "fixing" our computer which had something to do with an even planner in our administrative tools which contained many errors and warnings. this made my daughter believe them and take control of our computer. they kept transferring our calls from a woman with a thick indian accent and a man with an unidentifiable accent names Jake. they got us to download an application named Go ToAssist Custumer, which was supposed to "help" us. they told my daughter to go to a site called ifixo.com where we saw the charges, and things started to get suspicious. we hung up on them, and they called back twice. do not trust these people.

I received three calls from that number yesterday. I did not respond. Thay have begun to call this morning. What to do?

This caller ( 201-200-9999 ) showed up as "New Jersey" on my caller ID, less that 2 minutes later a call came in from 973-735-5438, this also read "New Jersey", one other phone number is 973-735-0021 also reading "New Jersey". All 3 of these calls are spam, very much like you get in your spam Email. If you look at 201-200-9999 it almost seems to ring bells as being a spam number. These New Jersey calls have been trying to contact be for over a year but I have them blocked.They started again today.  People must be alert now more than ever, nothing is free.

Ever hear the term "common carrier" ?  The phone company has ZERO liability in this situation.  Much like 800notes has no liability when you say something actionable here.

Do a little research before you rant and rave.

Got the same call--won a 400.00  WalMart gift card--wanted my Visa or Master Card Number for the $1.95 shipping and handling--I hung up!

same thing happened to me. they said they were hired from microsoft when i said that my computer was working just fine they said it was a glitch that i was unaware of lol

I received a phone call from this number today while I was out. Thanks for all the posts I usually don't answer when I don't recognize the caller. I wish we could stop all the scams that are going around. It makes you wonder how much they  do know about you.

All message had was a Indian accented man asking "May I speak to [my name]," a pause, then hung up.

Unpublished  (201) 200-9999 is from Jersey City, NJ

This phone number attempted to call me on my Skype-in phone number.  I never answer these calls but search this website first.  Good thing with Skype is that all you have to do is right click on the number in the history and block this number from ever calling you again.
