201-200-9999

Told me to look into my  prefetch folder and if I saw any files in there then they were viruses.  I asked how much their service cost and he told me go to their  web site at "log#rescuessl" to see price plans.  claimed to be some sort of technician with a company.  Thick accent. I hung up and they called back 2 times in 60 seconds also from 973-735-5438

first i get a call from unavailable then this number 2 seconds later..heavy Indian accent , says may i know your name, said i called him UM no i did not i called a different number that showed up on my phone also a scam that one is 917-210-0479... they asked me my name i told them no.. they first left a message on my work phone saying they were litigation company for payday loan..are you kidding. so a woman leaves a message and says her name is Jenny McDonald (highly doutful) then i get the call from this 201-200-9999 and this beauty says her name is Karen jones SAME VOICE!!! i'm not stupid.. just pissed off... i hate these morons wish they would read these and then DIE!!!!! [***]  rip off their own country , we have enough problems

I am currently in Argentina, then I called home.
My wife told me caller ID shows this number.
I google it, then found this post.

I have received a call from someone trying to sell me internet security and telling me bigpond security would not fix my internet problems and requesting $150 dollars for 1yr technical support.

Few days ago I got a call from a company named IFIXO. And the number was very strange something odd.
They just asked me that whether i had any problems with my computer or not. It was a bit strange but as I was really facing some problems with the computer so I just told the boy about all the problems which I faced with my computer. I can still remember the name it was SAM CRUISE. After listening to all my problems he just told me few steps to check my computer, like he showed me the Temporary files, prefetch files and the Internet files., which I think was really affecting my computer. Then after showing those files he just told me to connect my computer to their technician as there were many problems in my computer. Then he connected the computer  and then just told me about a nominal charge of $59.99 for fixing the computer. As the boy was very polite in manner so I just agreed to pay the amount.
they took the charge and fixed all my problems............ So,I think that blaming them without using their service is just foolishness............

I have read most of your posts on here and I was also a victim of this too...

Last night was the final straw (after months of stalking and numerous complaints to the police) when I was caught off guard and answered the phone while I was cleaning my house (grabbed my phone and answered quickly without looking at my caller ID). As soon as he spoke, I knew exactly who it was. As I got into it with him he then proceeded to tell me that someone would be coming to my house (he repeated my address) and grab me by the hair and drag me to the "kirt house" (courthouse) along with grabbing my boyfriend (he knows his full name too) by the neck and dragging him to the "kirt house" also. He kept repeating this over and over and then went on to ask me if the police were at my house now or close, adamantly questioning me about how long would it take for them to get to my house and if I was scared etc....

The authorities in my state (Virginia) are handling my case. Everyone that is on here, if you haven't done so yet, then you NEED TO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES ASAP if you are receiving any of these calls!! I'm not going to give out all the details of my case to have this person(s) ARRESTED and PROSECUTED because this person(s) is probably reading ALL of our posts on here and learning how to keep playing this "game/scam", "stalking" etc... seeing what everyone is doing about this criminal behavior and keeping tabs to avoid from getting caught. This person(s) is not very smart because last night "they left crumbs leading to the cookie jar". FINALLY AFTER MONTHS OF DEALING WITH THIS, JUSTICE!!!!!

Just got 4 calls this evening from this number.  When I called it back...surprise...it was disconnected!

Why would anybody give a stranger access to their computer and all the files.  Was their any personal data that they could find to steat your identity.  While they were fixing it they could have copied everything that you had on there.

My wife answered the phone. Caller asked for me, when my wife asked what the call was refering to caller abruptly hung up.

I have copied and pasted my comment on EVERY SINGLE site that shows up with this "201-200-9999" # . The man that calls (everyone is describing as like a horrible Indian type of accent?) , almost always says (if he doesn't hang up 1st), to call him back @ 917-210-0479, which it rings 3-4 times and then the call is dropped. This idiot actually dialed my local police department on 3-way!!!!! Uh... do they not know that it traces the call??! @ Mike- yeah this person(s) will continue to do that trying desperately to convince you that you have an outstanding debt (impersonating himself as a Officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigations) etc.. or try to convince you to purchase something that he doesn't sell just to try and get all your information. This idiot also will call back 2 minutes later after the 1st call and say he is with another company! I'm also on the "do not call" thing but somehow they are still able to get through by "Unknown Name Unknown Number"... @ on-the-do-not-call-list- I'm surprised he hung up because he will leave a message with my boyfriend (while I'm standing right there).

I have been receiving phone calls from this number for weeks now. I have never answered them, and they never leave a message. But I find it kind of odd that I am also getting a phone call a few minutes after 201-200-9999 and it says Toronto On 416-364-9999, I mean within 2-3 minutes. And they both end in "9999" Maybe these people have found a way to change what shows up on our caller Id's? It seems that they will stop at nothing! And there is LITTLE we can do about it.....

Can you say scam? You're obviously one of the scammers trying to falsely vouch for their legitimacy. As if.

I just received a call from this # after reading all these comments i'am glad i didn't answer it.
and will never answer it.

Another stupid caller. I let the machine get it. I am the DO NOT CALL list. Don't call me!!

Received a call from this number directly following a call from 702-938-2507 - neither left a message.  The strange thing is these calls came in the same order just a few days ago and again neither left a message.  The pattern is they continue to call throughout the day sporadically.  Anyone know if these two numbers are somehow related?  Caller id for this number simply says 'New Jersey' while the caller id for the '702' number is 'private number'

I had a call from them on September 21, 2010;  When I answered they hung up.  When I called back the number was listed as disconnected.

Came up on my caller ID as Jersey City,NJ

Don't give any information. Just say: "You're a scam. Good Bye". Don't call anymore.

Typical response, kill the messenger.  Whatever you do, don't help correct the problem...every man for themsellf.  Right?
