i have received about 20 calls from this company today, all calling from different numbers. when i start to ask questions, they hang up the phone on me. when they call back, from a different number of course, and i answer- they start screaming at me for hanging up the phone. they claim that there is a lawsuit against my social security number but just keep screaming and yelling into the phone. obviously this is a fradulent call, i am not sure if they are trying to collect, but i want nothing to do with any of it. this last call that i received, when i answered he asked me how my afternoon was, if i had had my lunch yet and to be ready for bad things to happen if i do not finish the matters they are handing to me.
as of now, i have no idea what the details are regarding why they are calling. do not take calls from this number-

    SAM CRUISE= I SCAM USER.
I am in the UK and received the exact same phone call, my computer had been fine, then it started freezing and going super slow, then by coincidence this company phoned me and knew what was wrong with my machine, i spend 40 minutes going through the motions with him and found out i had '2609 threats' to my system, then he offered to fix the whole lot for £89.99. i respectfully declined his offer and ran a full scan with my own antivirus, which took 90minutes, not the 7 minutes it took him, and found no threats whatsoever, it did however find a couple of trojan files which i deleted and the computer went back to normal, i can't help but think that for £89.99 all they would do is deactivate their own virus. i was a bit annoyed as to how they accessed my information as i pay to have my phone number ex-directory, i have as yet to receive a reply to my inqurires regarding this.

They are calling again, with the same lines just a new number, 201-200-9999.  If I don't answer, they call with the number blocked.  If I do answer they try to tell me that I owe debt and if I don't pay it the legal team will have no option but to have the police come to my door and serve me with an arrest warrent.  They also call using this number:973-735-5438.  This time I told them that I knew it was a hoax, that I already reported it to my police department.

You are right Marie. I have also got these services from ifixo. I had facing some problem with my computer. It showed Blue Screen Error. I thought how to solve blue screen error. Then I heard from one of my friend that he had also this type of problem & it has solved by a company named ifixo. I called them up, they behaved with me well. 1st they listened my problem and over phone they gave me some suggestions. After some steps my problem has solved. So don’t blame them  before using their service.

I agree!  Caller ID is the best way to avoid this scamming and phishing nonsense. Since I've been having a WHOLE BUNCH of unsolicited calls in the last several months, I finally purchased a new Panasonic phone system that allows you to block any number from the handset.  AT&T can't do this for you in any successful manner so I went with a phone system that does allow me to do that.  Once the number has been blocked, when they call again it rings only once and then cuts them off. It will show on my caller ID as CALL BLOCKED.  Now I don't have to go running to pick up a phone call thinking it may be some one I know.

Got a call from this number with heavy Indian accent.  He told me straight ahead that my computer generated a error message, and I should go to my computer so that he could fix the problem online.  The computer I use regularly belongs to my company, and is not registered under me.  When I said I would called back, he gave me another number: 315-944-2594.

I received a call from this number tonight. The caller had a heavy Indian accent.  He told me that my computer was logging excessive errors and all I need to do was log on to the computer and he would "walk me through correcting the problem".  I was blown away that he would think that I was that stupid.  I asked him what company he was with and he told me Microsoft.  I told him that I wasn't interested and hung up.

Customer just called us about her computer that is infected with several pieces of malicious software that she had recieved a phone call from 201-200-9999 stating that they were from Microsoft and they would like to help her fix her computer. First off lets get real Microsoft is not going to call you out of the blue, second if your computer is running badly and someone calls out out of nowhere asking to fix your machine I would be highly suspect that they were the ones causing the issues to begin with. Please be wary if have read a few post where people have paid these folks to fix system through unsolicited phone calls DO NOT DO THIS. If you allow them into your systems you are allowing them full access to you information. Hope this helps :)

Unbelievable - these poeple called me at 11.40pm last night and called again during the day, i listened, then asked for their company name so i could google it, i told that there was info saying this was a scam and the bloke got defensive! I asked why an IT company would not have their own website, he refered me to group they set up on Linkedin, i said that anyone could set a group up there, it means nothing... i advised him i wasn;t interested to which he told me not to bad mouth his company?? WTF... i told him not to call me again and hung up, he called me back!! i was surprised and annoyed... he wouldn;t take no so i told him not to call me back to which he proceeded to call me 10 times in a row, i just didn;t answer the phone... i had about 9 other mums with me that morning who heard the whole thing and were horrified.... i believe in Karma -there are lots of people who need jobs, scamming people is NOT the answer... why why why are poeple silly enough to give a strnager access to theor files, do they not realise that it is so easy to uload software that mirrors every stroke and captureds your passwords... you mihgt not experience anything now but once they have that info they will strike in the future.... be warned....

Just had a call from these "cowboys" and thought I would look up about the company and found this page.  I am a computer technician by trade and I'm stunned so many people on here willingly hand over their cash to this company and are encouraging others to do the same.

I was at first intrigued about what they were offering.  The guy had me going into event viewer to check for errors etc.  Of course I found some and they then tried to get me to allow their technician to remote login to my pc to solve the problems.

Thing is there are no problems,  at least I knew that because I have sound computer knowledge and knew what had caused the errors.

So from what i'm reading here is the next step would be me handing over X amount to "fix" my problem.

Now If I didnt know about computers I might have handed over the cash and be saying "yes they are great" etc

But because I work with computers on a day to day basis I know they were going to charge me for fixing something that wasn't broken.

And sounds like many other people have fallen for it.  Why pay XX money when most issues can be solved by using google and there are hundreds of help sites that show you various ways to easily maintain your pc and most fixes only take a couple of minutes and not worth £5 of anyones money.
