I've been receiving calls from this number and i'm in Ireland! It's easily between 3 and 5 calls a day. I only answered once, which was the first time. I have friends in the US so I thought it might be one of them. At least in the US you guys can stop these a$$holes but there is nothing I can do to stop them...

"Jayshree" is at it again, this time in Ohio. He called me twice on 1/23/08. First time my mother answered and I was asleep. Second time I answered. He said his name was Ron from some education group trying to sell me something or get my information for college enrollment. I yelled at him, got an echo back, and told him to stop calling me that I'm not interested that I am already enrolled in a college.

I'm on the do not call registry and plan to report the number. Doing a search came back as Hackensack, NJ and is a Verizon customer. Can we complain to Verizon?

I rec'vd a call today from this number telling me I have been selected to receive a camera and a 2 nights/3 days vacation to a destination of my choice. I will receive a package in the mail within 14 days. They verified my mailing address and I will only have to pay $1.95 for shipping and handling. They asked for my checking account information. The guy spoke poor english and I informed him I will not be giving him that info and hung up the phone.

Got the same call with the man asking me if I was my husband and I kept asking who was calling and he would not tell me but was very nasty, so I eventually hung up.
Caller ID did say the Jayshree name.
This is the first call I have received and hope it doesn't continue, although I will not answer that number if it pops up on caller ID.

These jerks call several times a day everyday.  They ask for me, when my husband says I am not available and asks what the purpose of the call is they become rude and insulting.  I too am sick of these calls.  Does anyone know how we turn this over to an authority that can stop these calls.  I too am on the do not call list and have advised the callers of that.  They laugh at me when I do.  The next call I get I will answer and say "I am so delighted to get this call from you f*****s today.  Then I will scream the worst scream possible into the phone.  I figure after several times of that maybe they will get tired of calling.

I suggest that everyone do the same.  Thank them for calling and then scream into the phone as loud as you can.  Maybe if we all do it they will eventually get the hint of how annoying their calls are.  Either that or no one will no longer want to work for this scam service.  By the way, my phone carrier suggested the following:  Call the local police and obtain a case #.  Provide the case # to your phone company's "ANNOYANCE CALL" dept.  They will then use special equipment to trace the true origin of the call.  With the true origin of the call they can block the call from getting through in the future and possibly use it for futher action against the callers.  The phone company also said complaints should be made also with the FCC AT #1-888-225-5322.
