I am also on the do not call registry. A lot of good that does. I filed a report and I was told that they can call me. That is really [***] up. why bother being on the do ont call registry. This jayshree called me for about 2 months and they finally stopped for about 2 months and today they started calling again. I am going to change my number to a non published number and hope they do not get it. trust and believe no one but family will get my new number! I have had it with Jayshree!!!

I am glad I read your post and I now know that the "hello" is a recording because like you said I get the "hello", but after that dead silence and no recording has ever come on. They stopped for a while and today Jayshree started again. I have also tried everything and they have gotten through the loopholes for the do not call registry because I have reported them and according to them they can call. I don't see how that is possible, why bother being on the do not call registry? It is ridiculous. My husband works third shift and I work first and we both get woken up. If I happen to be home when the phone rings I just click it right after I see the name Jayshree so I don't even have to hear it ring or have the answering machine come on and when I do this they dont call back afterwards, usually not until the next day anyways. This Jayshree is truly a [***]! Jayshree can shove their credit card up their ass! I will just shut my phone off if I have to and only use it to make out going calls!!! It is truly sad that I might have to do that and that nothing can be done about this !

The 201 number has shown up on caller ID many times over the last few weeks but I naturally screen calls. I finally picked up to see what was up. I heard some kind of garbled bit and then a guy came on asking for me. I said, "He's not here right now, can I take a message." (Standard protocol for me BTW) And he said he would call back later.

I need to work out how to block calls and just plan on going through that exercise every few weeks to keep my phone lines clean.

This makes 4 times that this number has called in the last few months. Every times that they have called I had told them if this is a sale call not to call again and to take my number off the list. This person does not listen to what you try to tell them. I have not let them ask questions. About to weeks ago they called again, after the last two times I have told this person not to call my number again. Will today 12-27-2007 at 12:01 PM Jayshree @201-373-8371 calls again this time this person just kept the line open would not said anything. I am very sick and I am going to have a liver transplant soon, and I do not need this. Something needs to be done this person. This person that I am deal with is a foreign.

I just received a call from this number, and when I tried to call back the automated operator says, "We're sorry.  Your called did not go through. Please try your call later."  I wonder if it's just THAT busy, or if they do not allow calls to come in.  If the second is true, that may explain why they do not leave a message.

Here is what I will do from now on:  When I receive one of these fruitcake calls, I will answer.  When I get a real person, I will tell them I'm very interested in what they're calling about... then ask them to hold for a second.  Then, I will lay the phone down, NOT hang up... just lay it there... Until the putz gets the idea I'm not coming back and hangs up.  They get paid by the call or sale, so this should burn through some of their time.  At Christmas time, I'd set the phone in front of the speaker and blast Christmas music at them!

Usually, a phone call that hangs up when you answer is a company that establishes when a person is home so that telemarketing companies know when to ring you.  I read somewhere when you get these kinds of calls, press the star and pound keys over and over as fast as you can.  Supposedly, that causes the computer dialing and it kicks your number out of the system as a fax machine.  I've not tried it, so I don't know if it works.

2013738371 The phone I was being hit on was a secondary phone I used and a cell as well. I seen that number all through 2007 pop up. My self if I do not know the # I do not answer it you want to talk to me leave a message. I changed the number had the the phone company issue one that has been out of circulation for a while. What I see on here by what other people have mentioned is telemarketing and the National do not call registry should be fining this *^* hole and passing on a investigation about his so called company AKA phishing scam he has going.

this number has been calling for weeks!i fimally answered it tonite and when they asked for me i told him i wasn't here,then i changed my mind and i was like this is she please don't not call here again,well the stupid a**hole called me a liar i told him to take my number off of his list and he told me no i have filed a complaint with donotcall.gov. i've been a member for 2 years, not that anything will be done, so i blocked the number threw my call intercept on my phone,theses rude sob's need stopped

These guys are doing the same thing as all the people above. Calling sever al times ... to my cell phone! I know why we are being targeted by these people. When they called me, they asked for "brickwall". Brickwall is the name of a guy who owes me 400 dollars, and we recently got into an argument. This has to be a prank call service or something of the sort.

Get weird phone calls all the time- nobody talks to you, just silence. Tired of being harrassed....

They keep calling & calling, I asked to not call and they laugh, they said they'll just call back tomorrow to talk about some education.

This # started ringing on my cell yesterday and hasn't stopped!  How can this be stopped????

This may be a little irresponsible of me because I can't prove that this is THE Patel Jayshree in question, but here goes...  I ran a couple free searches on Patel Jayshree in NJ, and there are about 26 Patel Jayshrees in NJ. I ran it through US search (and payed $3) and found 1 in Little Ferry.  The full address is: 34 Waterside Dr. 07643.  Use that info however you like (within the law, of corse.)
