"James Dawson" asked for my name and I told him that I had actually just shot the guy and couldn't give him his information because he was choking on too much blood right now. Had my friend choking in the background. Told "James Dawson" he could just send my the free cash and gave him the local ATF address. Then I told him "Im an Infidel" in Arabic and hung up.

Got a call from the "202" 000-1111" I never answer these fraud calls.. As a response to the woman with the 9 year old girl.. It's a sad fact that personal information is a big business now.. Please don't be shocked that your personal information is out there.. In most cases its not your fault.. Very skilled hackers break into places you think are very secure like, hospitals, credit card company's, car dealers, etc, etc, etc.. Places that require you to give up personal information.. The only way to really secure yourself these days is to not give out any info.. Do your banking at the bank.. switch mobile numbers every other year.. Do Not store any personal information online.. Monitor your credit.. That's about all you can do at this point.. It's inconvenient as hell!!! But; this is the time we live in.. Need to adapt with the changes.. Hope this helps you

I received a call from 202-000-1111 and they told me they were from Washington D.C., they have a heavy foreign accent, she said that I had won a grant from Washington because I'm a good citizen and haven't filed bankruptcy or had not been convicted of any crimes and I pay my taxes.   They then said that it was $7,000 I have been granted and that it is against the law to use this grant for any illegal activity such as gambling, lottery or to purchase drugs.  Then they said do you have any idea what you want to use the grant for.  (I'm being incredibly vague througout the entire conversation.)  I told them to pay bills.  But then she said, "Okay then you are qualified."  "I'll just need to verify your information and we'll get it going."
I said, "Well that depends on what kind of information you'll be asking for."  She said, "Oh, please hold."  They hung up on me then call right back and it was a man.  He said, "Oh sorry for the disconnect."  "We just need to verify your information."  I said, "What information?" ---CLICK.  They hung up.  I blocked the number - IT'S A SCAM!!

I constantly get calls from this, no one talks and when they do they're trying to sell me porn or try to have inappropriate conversations with me. I recently found out that if you call (888) 382-1222 which is the FTC & you put your number on the "Do Not Call" list they will stop calling within a few days, & it will prevent other companies like this one from calling you.

This is not a real phone number.  The second group of three digits has to be 200 or more for it to be valid.  Don't answer these calls, don't call them back, and try not to let your answering machine or voice mail answer, either.

I got a call from 202-000-1111 on 2/11/14 at 11:11am. When my answering machine picked up they hung up. Then on 2/11 at 3:16pm they called back and left a very strange message that said " Where are you Jeannie. When I tried to call them back on my landline it rang 2 times and disconnected. Then I tried on my cell. It said your call can not be completed as dialed. Please check you call and dial again.

This number called me earlier this morning I am in Washington State and the call came through around 7:50 a.m. I did not answer love you could hear on the voicemail they seem to have accidentally left background noise of an office or something. After reading the responses here I will be hanging up on them immediately. Not that I would answer any number with the prefix 000...

I see from some of these answers, this scam is still around. I just got off the phone with them.  Told them I wasn't interested.
Couldn't understand because of thick accent.  Obviously the government. LOL   How come they are still around after two years trying to rip people off after 2 years.  Instead of wasting our taxes, the government  should be putting these people out of business.

I receive a couple of calls from 202-000-1111 a month. They say I am selected for a grant and I tell them I am not interested. The last caller gets mad and says, "Why you accept my call F*ck you" than hangs up. Foriegn piece of dog dropping. He can kiss my butt. If he was here in person I would beat some manners into him.
