Unwanted phone call calling nonstop

Call from 202 000 1111 I answered phone but did not say anything. Heard voices in the background and caller hung up after about 15-20 seconds. I never said anything

I just got another call from this number 202-000-1111. I googled it with them on the line and informed them that this was a scam and the USA just does not give 9,000 away for free with no pay back needed! I screamed at him and told him that if they did not stop calling me I would track him down!! This man has an accent and claim to work for the USA Government. The last one I got like this was from a woman out of Newark, NJ. Same accent. He laughed when I told him I was going to find him, that is because the call is from out of the US!!!! So mad and tired of the liars and scammers in the world!!!

Called 2 times. Heavy accent.

I got two calls from 202 000 1111 today.   I answer the first time but did not say anything. A young woman sounding voice said hello and there was noise in the background. She hung up after about 30 seconds. Then 3 hours later I got a call from the same number but did not answer.  How do I stop them?

Received a call from this number again today.  I have been getting up to ten phone calls from a 202 number almost every day.  I said hello.  The guy said hello just as if I had called him and he just answered the phone.  So I wait a moment because he didn't say anything.  I then said, "You called me."  He said, "Yes, I called you" and then hangs up on me.  What a waste of time.

Got a call from this number also did not know anyone from Washington D,C. so I never answered and if they continue to call I will put a block on the number, there should be a legal way to stop these people, prison would be nice except we would have to support them with tax dollars, so, shoot a few when punishment exceeds the crime it stops others from trying it if they want to live.

This number called me and I just hung up. It kept cutting out.

I tried calling this number back.  It said all lines where busy.  Think it is a scam

I kept telling him he was hard to understand to put someone on the phone who did not have an ascent
he called me an idiot and hung up and now he is calling from a different number saying he is a detective and the IRS is suing us

I just received three calls from that ssame number. I just hung up as soon as I herda the not american avcent guy that he was calling from the us goverment

These people called me about a week ago. And they keep calling under multiple numbers. One number from Texas. Which I answered and told them to stop calling me after they said they were from the government. Yesterday they called me from 206-452-7348. They are calling me EVERY DAY from a new number. I am being harassed endlessly! I've reported them to the government, and they have a news article about them.

I'm getting ahead of myself. Original story. I got called by a number I no longer have. A Washington number. They told me I won a grant for $7,000 for not filing bankruptcy last year and being a generally good citizen. He had me call some women who claimed to be part of the US treasury. She gave me some confirmation number, and told me to go to a money tree, put a deposit in for $200, and then I would get the money. I think I confused her, because upon my research, they seem to get money through Moneygram.com I got off the phone, and called and reported them with the information. He called me the next day, I sent it straight to voicemail and blocked the number. Every time they call, I look them up, and see sites just like this, with dozens of people complaining about the number. I block them. They have never left me a voicemail. It's really annoying though, because it's a matter of stress now every time I see a number I don't recognize, and I'm in the process of looking for a job, so most of my calls are unknown. This needs to stop!

The poor caller from India could hardly speak English but managed to tell me the government was going to give me a grant for 9000.00 USD. Yeah, sure.  I feel sorry for those uneducated Indian youth that have to work for these scammers......NOT.

I received a number earlier today I answered and heard nothing but the wind outside...either that or they were just breathing in the phone

Me too.... I get these calls very very frequently .... I don't pick up the phone they leave the messages that tell me There is a warrent for my arrest from IRS.. SomeTIMES THREE OR FOUR warrants .... Arrest is imminent ...?gives me time to go on the run !!!!!! And get away .... Load of crap and such a waste of time all round really

Received four calls from 202-000-1111 today. The first three times they just hung up when I ask who it was the fourth time the lady and cussing at me very quietly
