Same just happened to me, same names and same number except when they said all of the crap about receiving money for paying taxes they didn't realize that I just got out of high school and never payed any taxes so I went along with it giving them fake address and names and eventually I started mocking their accents cuz I knew it was a scam and they got pissed and hung up... Serves them right

Call your phone service company or access your account online. Have the offending scammer/spammer's phone number blocked. NEVER give out any personal info over the phone to someone you do not know. If it sounds to good to be true, it is a scam most of the time.

These guys are still calling... same lame "government grant" BS.

These same people have been calling me since December and  are still calling they won't stop . Even after I told them that I know they are a scam. Someone has to do something about them. There are people out here who actually believe them and are being scammed. Thinking its really thre Federal Government.

Call said he was calling from the US federal grants dept said his name was Garret Pierceson and I had 9000 free money from the government I said ok western union it to me cash, He said ok call this number 2027384261 you will speak to a Nicole stewart and she will release your money today western union he said we can release it to your bank account or debit card really who looks that dumb, Called that other number no answer lol they crazy Watch out..

Honey, it's not a company, it's a scam.  You will never see your money.  The govt is not seeking out people to give money to you.  It's very hard to get a grant and requires a ton of work on the part of the person who's asking for one.

This number called my son's cell phone, claimed to be calling from the IRS. Said his name was "MIke," in heavy east Indian accent.  Son hung up.  I think these people troll job websites and get your phone numbers there, and based on your background--,ie, student, unemployed, immigrant, try to run an effective scam on you.

I told a Lawfirm who called me and said if I didn't pay they would take me to court and I told them do what you have to do. Well 2 months later I got a letter in the mail saying I was being sued and the date I needed to appear at the county courthouse. Now I am paying 7 times the amount of what my loan was originally for. I thought the call I got was BS but I guess I was wrong.

they are scams. when i let them know that i am a federal employee and the government does not offer grants over the phone, they freak out and hang up.

most of them are scams. they dont usually send leeters in the mail. process servers serve the papers. i was scammed a couple years ago into paying a so called law firm for the same thing. i did have payday loans but paid them off, and thought maybe i forgot one. when i called the actual payday loan place the law firm collected for, i was informed i had never had a loan with them. best thing to do if u get a call like that is take their number and have your lawyer call them.

I NEVER answer calls from area codes I do not recognize!...always check these sites first!!...this number repeatedly calls me I Just ignore it...a couple of other "scam " numbers repeatedly called me after not answering a few times , the calls stopped.

Yes they have call me twice in different days and times I just let it go to voicemail and it hangs up when answer machine comes up . Also it does NOT leave NO messages at all ...
