Keeps calling me from A 202 number, same thing 9000 grants money, he has a accent and says I need to get a green money card and deposit 250 on it for him to release my grants money!! This guy is really getting on my nerves! I told him, I'm not paying for any money!!!

Just wanted to put the number that the man called and said how do I want to receive my grants money FROm the government!!! He calls everyday!!!

I got a call from 203-923-478. 9 digits? This guy knew my full name ,address, D.O.B.,city, state, zip. Has a heavy accent.The man tells me that last year I've payed all my taxes, have no record, paid bills on time, and I didn't file  bankruptcy. So I played ball with him .I know last year was my worst all across the board. At this point he tells me I get a little more than $9000 and can get it via credit card, account #, or western union. I say western union. He says he's sending it now and He then gives me a confirmation code and another number to call [(202)436-9793]I ask the location he persists I call the number "please right away sir". I say ok. I didn't call, I went to this site and others to inform people. If it's 1 thing I know, it's that the government isn't giving me a free ride. My only concern is that these foreigners have this much information. It is very dangerous as far as personal safety!!! It should be addressed immediately!

On 3/2/2014 I received a call from this number --> (202) 683-9875  the guy I spoke with had such a strong accent, I could not understand one word he said. The only part of that conversation I caught was you have been chosen to receive a grant of $7,500 and you have two choices. He wanted my account information or I could receive the money by Western Union, all I had to do was call his finance manager before the week was over or this one time offer would expire. Thank god I've have been so occupied with my daughters school activities and I completely forgot all about that conversation until I had a little free time today. I'm really glad I trusted my instincts and decided to look up this so called United States Government Grant Department of Health.

Had a 87455123 number call me and said the same thing. The lady told me shes in D.C. at the treasury department, and I had won 9,000, for never being late on bills, and no bankruptcy. Well I have been late on bills, and why the hell is she foreign?! After 5 minutes of her mumbling mouth I asked her why she cant just send me a check in the mail, hell I receive my bills in the mail just fine, I can get money that way too!! Well she started rambling on and I finally said, no,no,no,no,no this is a scam, to which she replied [***] you and hung up! lmao

This is so funny because they just called me with the samething and I was actually gone do this but I called my older sister and asked her do this sound legit she told me that it sound like a scam. For one why would he need me to pay him 200 for some money that he's giving me for free. But 9000 did sound pretty good for a broke person. Lol. Smh dont do it guys I feel stupid because he now has my name and address.

just got a call from the same heavy accented guy...number was 202-456-7890 DC area number...I ain't no new fool though.  Hell I'm behind on student loans and child support but he claim I pay all my bills on time.  I started to give him my old checking account # that I no longer use but I don't need it in the negative.  IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS.

I had a call from 305-368-8238 and was told that the government is giving me $9,000.00 because I have filed my taxes on time and I was chosen with other NY residences. They gave me a number to call 202-684-6525 and I # JH326 to verify my name. They did ask for information and told me that I can receive this money by cash at a western union. But, I had to send $250.00 for processing but, I would get it back $9,250.00 in cash. I called the number and talked to a women by the name of Steffanie.

Call from (202)451-7830. Guy didn't speak english, knew it was a scam immediately. Me? Pay my bills on time? Hah.

Just was told that I had won a free grant for 9000 dollars..but they want me to send 250 on a green dot card first...

Got a call from this number saying my uncle just receive a grant for $9000 for having a clean record of no felonies and filing taxes on time. They asked me to make a purchase for a walgreens/cvs/711 green dot money card that's $300 in order to receive the grant.

If it was really a grant, then a check would be completely acceptable via mail.

Additionally, My uncle just immigrated to the states from another country. He's been in the US for less than one year

I forgot to include that the person who called me was a female who also had a heavy accent.

They like to pick on single women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the local Indian community.  They also will pick on any recent immigrant from either India or Pakistan.

Phone call from "202-470-3388".  Grant money for being a good citizen.  $8,400.  ELLIE EVANS #MF247 AUTH. # .. 4/9//2014 @ 12PM was when call received.
