Started receiving phone calls from (202) 621-5429 recently, but didn't answer them. I became suspicious almost immediately because they would only ring 2 or 3 times then hang up and never leave a message. A legitimate business caller would not call persistently than only ring the phone 2 or 3 times and hang up. Also a legitimate caller would leave a message to identify themselves and the reason for calling.
Then I checked here and found they were scam calls. Thanks 800notes.com for providing this service. I live on a limited (disability) budget, so I can't afford the fees charged by all the high priced phone # look-up services!

I too just got a call from 202-621-5429, but did not answer, and of course no message was left. I'm sick of all these calls. I just called it back and it said" the number you are calling is teporarily unavailable."I signed up for the do not call list, but I don't think it will do any good.

I just got a call from this number and I told them to take me off their call list. This dumbass tells me that, "He can't." His name is Jason. Got his supervisor on the line and told him to take me off because they call non-stop, and I would report them to B.B.B. for harassment. Works everytime.

This number called 202-621-5429 and I answered I said 'hello" and they just hung up.
I called back but it says the number is temperarilly unavailable

Male with accent said that he was calling from Washington, D.C. and that the government had awarded me a $7,000 grant and it never has to be repaid.  I responded that I do not trust him and never call my telephone again.  He hung up.

Scam call with the free money pitch.

I have been getting calls from this number off and on for about a month. I looked it up and found out it was a scam about a $7000 grant from the government. So, I took the number off call block to put a stop to this. Within minutes I got a call. He called me by name and told me of a grant for $7000 from the government. I told him GREAT, I just received one last week for the $7000 and would like another one. He got MAD and said that there was no [***] money and then asked if he was wasting my time. I told him yes, and he was doing a good job at it!! He then told me to have a nice day... I then told him to go [***] himself and hung up the phone. He called back in 2 minuites and told me that he was going to [***] my wife and family and hung up. NOW, he has called 10 more times in 30 minutes. I have a call blocking app for my android  and turned the block back on. This is getting OLD!!

My wife and I get this kind of crap calls almost daily.  We have a contest to see who can keep them on the line the longest.  So far she is the winner at 37 minutes.............that was 37 minutes the A$$e$ couldn't call someone else..........you're welcome.

I, too, don't get a response from (202) 621-5429; and nor do I get a response from (202) 470-0945, (202) 378-7651, and nor from (202) 735-7560.  They are undoubtedly from the same source, and are undoubtedly all scammers.  I programmed my phone to reject future calls from these numbers.
