Called at 12:00 noon, did not answer as i do not recognize the number. Ive made the habit of blocking every number that comes in, then checking the number on here. Glad i did... shouldnt get any more calls from that number.

CPR call blocker is great. It does have some limitations but comes wih pre-installed numbers that are automatically blocked, which eliminated these annoying calls by more than half. the rest that get through are easy enough to block by just pressing the big red button. Thank you CPR call blocker!!!

Got a call CID "Connecticut" / Phone Number 203-437-7659.  As always - didn't recognize//didn't pick up.

I had some time to waste so I decided to see what this was about.  It was the Pain Center (more ways than one) calling to tell me that someone from my number had called them about getting a back brace.  Nope, of course no one had called them.  Press 1 if you want to talk to someone or press 2 to be removed from their calling list.  I missed the 2 and hit 5 instead to see what would happen.  They repeated their message.  Unfortunately they decided I wasn't interested in hung up when I hit the 5 a second time.  I was hoping to tie up their line for awhile.  Anyway it was fun while it lasted.  Next time I might press 1 so I can have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.  Seems unfair but they did call me so they will have to deal with whatever they get.

Received this call but no message.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize and thoses who do not leave a message.

Other numbers used by these scammers are609-270-4746, 626-873-7865, 682-710-0968, 319-432-0480 and now 203-437-7659 - caller id showd "contact center" on all numbers except 203-439-7659 shows Connecticut bot if you all the numbers back it is same recording on all

Called today. CID said Conneticut call. I didn't answer and no message was left. Never answer calls from unknown names and numbers, not call them back.   This was the third scam call I got today. Other calls came from different numbers telarketers.

Must have gotten a new bunch of numbers, two calls so far, each from different numbers, pointless & stupid, like suddenly I'm not only going to answer but listen & engage with these morons. Oh well just keep adding to my blocked call list....this is so much fun, hard to tear myself away....

Called 5:46pm, Caller ID displayed "2034377659"

Didn't pick up; left VM: computer-voice "Pain Center" rep. claiming someone from this number contacted them about a back brace.  No one did; this is just another scam.

Level 3 does services like Webmeeting for large corporations. I'm wondering if someone is using company facilities illegally or the company is corrupt

If people want off the list obviously they are not interested.  I know we're not interested, and if I thought it would work (but I've been around this dog and pony show enough to know it doesn't and never will) I would press whatever to be removed from the call list.

We got on the DNC list years ago.  It just seemed to make them want to call more.  It's like a Chinese finger puzzle: the more you resist the deeper in you get.  Just don't answer; let it pass, and maybe they won't call again.  If for some reason (say, you're a business, or you can't see your CID screen like my grandma couldn't) and you end up on the line with these holes of the anal variety, hang up on them.  It's alright.  They don't care about you so why should you care about them, or what they think about you?  Pressing that end button doesn't end the world, it just ends the call.

It indicates these people of the anal description intend to use the number many more times, opportunistically hoping that whoever answers on the other end will be gullible enough to fall for whatever scenario they've dreamed up then.

I tend to agree with Judicial History Consultant.  However let me point out that it hinges on proving they did this in the first place, and good luck with that.  They (at least mostly) don't live in this country.  These calls tend to originate in India and the Philippines when/if you can know.  That information comes from years ago before they figured out how to usurp phone numbers from this country and/or how to get in and get their own number as a cover.  I will also say there is an exception, and that's the ring I keep mentioning in these posts that got caught out of Athens, Augusta, Dahlonega (and may I add Eatonton?) a few years ago.  The authorities caught them through a sting operation and put them in jail until about 2012, and at the time I said, "Well the phone will be quiet until then," and I was right.  Here we are, reporting A-A-D&E? again.

Anyway Pain Center called a few minutes ago at the number for this post.  I just report them, just in case.

Did receive a call from this number. Went to recording and did not leave a message on voicemail. did not answer at 11:59 am.

You can not punish them by tying them to 2 horses and whipping the horses to pull in opposite directions.  That would be cruelty to the horses!

10/08/15 4:30 PM (our local: West Norriton Twp, PA) Caller ID: Connecticut, called on my landline #203-437-7659 -- a hang-up AGAIN; how many of these calls do we have to received before something is done; have an unlisted # and both landline and cell are on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

2:21 PM - same as others regarding someone from "this" number capping them - morons!

LOL - typo - said "capping" them instead of "calling" them - Oh, wait - capping them stems from my Chicago background so it had to be a Freudian slip after all......

Hey Mrs Dilly Pickle, I worked at a company where a phone in said her name was Mrs. Derry Berry. Just had to say that before I said got a hang up today 2:08 PM from these scammers. It's our first hang up from them and am sure it won't be the last. Love the Pickle name.

I blocked it with my super-duper call blocker.  Best investment I've made lately !!!
