I received a recording saying the IRS was going to sue me, I returned the call to be told I owed 3780.00 or would have to go to court.  I told them I would have to investigate further.  He hung up on me.

Called the number.  He said his name was Sean and gave a badge ID number.  Said that he was with IRS headquarters in Seattle, WA.  Spoke with a heavy accent and got very agitated when I started asking him questions.

I also received a call from this number saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.

9:00 am   I received a call stating : "Internal Revenue service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 206-462-5330. I repeat 206-462-5330" .

Received the same message as everyone else stated in the comments.  Didn't call back.  But interestingly, I had a different call recently from a Debt Consultant group, and when I called back and gave them my name and number, they immediately told me it was a wrong number, sorry, etc.  Not sure what they stand to gain by having you call back, unless it's some type of service to determine they have a right number, "best time to call", etc.

I have been getting this call for several months. Usually an actual man who has given 2 different names on my answering machine. A few weeks ago I actually picked up and told him this is a scam that the IRS doesn't contact you over the phone. He says" so how does the IRS contact you then? I said by official letter. He says oh no they call you. They find you and they f**k with you. They will F**k up your p***y. I told him I was going to report this number to the police and I hung up. He called back but didn't talk to the machine. I did call the police. I was told yes absolutely a scam that the IRS will not call you.( I knew this) he said they could come out and take a statement but it is really hard to find these people. But my husband googled the number and got an address. I just another call but this time it was a female auto voice saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me, whatever. My concern is for older people who aren't clear thinking and get taken advantage of.

I was called, stating they were from IRS to call for more information regarding a case file on a lawsuit against me. IRS does not send text messages or leave voice mails. The notification is letter. I did not return the calls.

Was on phone when call came in from Unknown 202-470-3234 so it went to voice mail.  Most of their message was said over our voice mail greeting but recording did leave phone number to call back:  206-462-5330

I received a voice mail message regarding back taxes owed to the IRS.  It was from 206-462-5330.  It said that I needed to call right away to avoid being arrested.

I called several times before I was able to get through.  A foreign sounding man told me I owed back taxes from tax years 2008-2912 from a recent tax audit, in the amount of $5,490.  When I asked him to send me something regarding this matter, he said that they had twice tried to mail me a letter but that I was not home and had not followed up to the notice that had been left for me.

He asked if I wanted to settle this matter right now to avoid being arrested.  I told him I thought it was a scam and he said he was calling the Indiana State Police and that they would be out to arrest me for not paying my taxes owed.

I am still week in the knees from this telephone call and his threat.  It really scared me.

This is a scam these dirt bags tried the same thing on my elderly father. Don't give them any info

I had message on answering machine said IRS was filing a lawsuit against me, said to call this number. From "Seattle"

Received the call, with recorded message.  Called back once, they hung up quickly.  Called back again, told them they were a scam, and they got belligerent.  Did not provide any information, but am waiting for other shoe to drop (i.e., identity theft of some sort).

This number called today, did not leave a message.  Has called previously for IRS scam calls.

Just got a call on our landline from 206-462-5330 (thank you Caller ID) and did not answer as we did not recognize the #....a robocall message played on my voice mail stating This is IRS- We have filed lawsuit against you and you must call 206-462-5330 to discuss this matter.....we know we are not in any jeopardy w/IRS (but with all the reports of criminals using others SS #s and filing for returns this past year I had to wonder....but did not call - as I see from this feed that it is another scam - wish there were ways to get these dipsticks to cease their attempts to extort their fellow Americans

Just received  a call from 206.462.5330 saying to call because the OR was filing a law suite  against  me.

Got a call from 206-462-5330 indicating a lawsuit was being filed against me by the IRS. This is obviously a scam. I reported it to http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report.shtml
