Recorded phone call reportedly from IRS asking me to call 206-462-5330. I did not. Obvious scam

Got the call from the # 206-462-5330, a robo message that the IRS was suing me.
I called, got some non native english speaking person (says his name was Shawn Marshall...riiiight) then told me I made some mistake from 2008-2013 on my taxes, and owed 5,120.00... then transferred me to his "supervisor (another non native english speaking fella named Jack Gates, lol.

when I started grilling him on what exactly was the issue, he got so heated, called me all kinds of colorful names, then hung up.  He wouldn't answer the phone for round 2, lol.

Got a message from these slimeballs telling me I'm about to sued by the IRS. Well, after having dealt with the IRS before, I know all about the dreaded letter first as their way of making initial contact. So when I heard the message on my answering machine with the area code 206 number, that raise an immediate red flag. So I call back and some sixtyish sounding cigarette voice lady answers asking for my name. She didn't even give hers when she answered the phone. I asked "how do I known if this is really the IRS", and bam, she hangs up the phone.

Yep same exact thing just happened to me. Immediately reporrted it on fcc website and the do not call website. I knew it was fishy because i had never gotten anything from the irs...so how could it be a final notice? Just researched the ohone nummber on google and found this site.

I received a telephone message that the IRS was instituting a lawsuit against me and to reply to 206-462-5330. I checked and found that others had received the same message.  I sent a letter to my local IRS Office and an e-mail to my local FBI office reporting the same.  I suggest that others report their messages to the IRS and to the FBI.

Just received a recorded call from 206-462-5330 stating the I.R.S. was filing a suit against me and to call for more information.

This also happened to me last Friday.   I'm glad I Google checked it.  The English on mine was perfect.

I am tired of getting harassed by this number and several others stating IRS is going to arrest me!

Got this recorded call. Knew it was a phony since the IRS does not make phone calls! Attorney general office has made contacted by several people about this fraudulent call.

Claims to be IRS wanting information.  When I ask what name they are looking for the hangup. When is the US Government going to start fining the crap out of these people?

1st got a voicemail that I needed to return the call and that from the IRS. Called back, they asked for my phone number, after giving it, was asked to verify my name and address, which they had correct. Ms. Garner said that the IRS had twice tried to reach me via mail but the mail was returned and that that was why they had called and according to HER, which the IRS never does. I told her I knew that this was a scam and she hung up on me. I called my local police department and reported them.

They called and left a voicemail about how the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. I did not call back because I had not received a notice in the mail and knew that if the IRS used a number of would be a 1800 number not a 206 number

Called from 206 462 5330 - said irs is trying to reach me and this is last chance before they file a lawsuit....I called the number and they answer on the first ring....IRS...I told them I just wanted to know what they said when they answer and hung up....it is a scam...the real IRS writes letters. Be careful

You must contact us at this number 206-462-5330.  You being sued by the IRS.  contact us immediately

I have received two "final" messages regarding a lawsuit inititated by the irs.  I Know this is a scam and have not returned the call.  The second # is 206 201 2400.   Beware and son't be frightened.
