"Ic System" and Boise ID on cid, DC'er couldn't explain why she's calling from St. Paul, MN and Boise ID shows on CID. She didn't respond when I asked told her if it's very misleading to use a # from another state.

I have to wonder why an allegedly “legitimate “business would need so many phone numbers to call out on?

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

What is this # associated with? They called asking for my Ex than asked if I was his wife and when I said no they hung up.

13 Calls in the last 9 days - I'm glad they are calling because, even though I do not answer any calls from them, and know they are not calling me, they are a Debt Collector calling my cell and I can SUE!!! So far I've gotten 8K (my attorney assisted me) from 3 different Debt collector companies! Do a search; Sue Debt Collectors who call your Cell.

Collectors. Silent at first but give it a few seconds and tell them they have the wrong number. They must remove your number from their list by law

Collection agency - one of the dirtiest. They skirt FCC rules all the time, and ought to be shut down. Block 'em.
