We got one today. I was trying to figure out who had sent us something.  I called twice, then I looked them up! Thanks to all the posts, I now know.

Same thing.   Door hanger saying "Sorry We Missed You" my first initial and last name and my address telling me to call 214-393-9195.  This has been their "1st attempt".

I received a hand address post card with my last name on it in my mail box.  Post Mark was from Phoenix, AZ, but with a San Antonio number.  I filed a complaint with the Mail Fraud Department.  Someone post the link a few back.  Who the heck are these people.   They harassed me with a door notice a few months back!  They came into our Gated community.  I hope they get in big trouble.

I also got the letter delivered via USPS (we live in a gated community). The letter apparently was sent from Phoenix, AZ. Thanks for taking action and alert us!

I too Closed on house last week, got  "1st attempt" notice today.  My numbers were different:

    602 926 1638
    and
    520 350 9571

Master Planned community in Gilbert, AZ.

Delivered by Compass with some handwritten tracking codes at the lower left corner.
Guy never even rang the bell, I only got up because I heard the dogs barking, looked through the window and the guy was leaving... checked the door and seen this card with the numbers above.

See this review on the company at Yelp: www.yelp.com/biz/compass-delivery-service-austin or google  "Delivered by Compass" and see that they are scammy.

I also just bought my Home in fort worth and I've received three of these. It went from being first attempt, second attempt, back to first attempt. I don't know if I should call the police or not because I don't know if they would do anything.

Glad I checked this out.  One of these cards left on my house, with the date as 4-9, I presume that is April 9, less than  2 weeks after we took possession, but weren't moved in yet.  The neighbour thought it might be a real delivery and kept it.  She actually talked to whoever left the card and gave them her cell#, they called her looking for my husband and I.  I will definitely be notifying my HOA about them.  We are in Johnson Ranch, AZ

The same numbers as Damon's note.

I got the exact same thing in Phoneix after buying a home.  The delivery service didn't look familiar but I called anyway and got the music and recording.  Thank you for all these posts confirming that it was bogus.  Anything legit would come from  FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

It seems that they get the information from new homeowners data file, because I just purchase a home and I received the same note on my door.  After few attempts on the phone I was able to reach somebody on the line, he said that they were trying to deliver some sort of coupons and then he wanted to sell me and deliver a security system?
Hope this help answering some of your questions.

Same thing. Purchased home in north Texas and received the same shady notice. We notified local police and they came out to our home. They took the fake delivery notice to keep record and notify their department and neighboring cities. Our neighbors were put on alert as well. Continue notifying your local pd.

We also purchased a home in north Texas and I was out sweeping my porch and found this notice stuck to my door.  I did try to call back, but it is after hours.  I should have figured it was something suspicious.
