I am getting these as well. Mike in NYC they will settle I was in the same boat as you and they put me on a payment plan. I don't know what your debt is byt I told them I could do $40 per month and they agreed to waive any more late fees over limit fees. I'm only a month into it so crossing my fingers it works, but call Chase directly from the number on your bill or card. Do not call this texas number.

Call my leasing office continuously. Never leave a message. Calls are daily, sometimes 6 times or more a day. This is a legitmate business and our phone is to be used for this purpose only-not harassment or and hang-ups that take our valuable time.

Chase keeps calling my cell phone 5-6 times a day. I've asked them to stop and have no accounts with them. Since my # is listed under the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, I've filed a couple of complaints against their constant calling. I suggest you do the same. If you don't have any business with them, they can't call you.

They called an office phone this morning, and the call was ignored because the number was not familiar. They just called again a left a message this time.

A canned recording of a woman with an American accent saying "Thank you for your patience" preceded an Indian-sounding male who said “hello” 5 times on the voice message, then said “forget it” and laughed and then continued to say "hello." He finally hung up. No one here has any dealings with Chase. Could this be someone masquerading as Chase? This is not a professional way to present oneself, let alone a business. All calls from this number will be ignored.

They have called 3 times today. This time, they did not have the opportunity to say anything because I picked up the phone and said "Please quit dialing this number. Do not call again" and hung up.

for sure everyone. Chase card services uses this number to contact anyone who is 30 days late or more. They are such a large financial institution they are their own collection agency as well. If you blow them off they will freeze your bank account [if you were with Washington Mutual, which they now own] and you had any accounts with them, they will garnish your wages and sue you and take your home! Watch out for them!
It is ridiculous that we [the tax payer] have bailed them out with our tax dollars, they raised their rates to 30% and higher, and their money costs them .75% from the Federal Reserve [prime lending rate for banks].
Obama needs to go after these banks they are gouging the American people - talk about "windfall profits" - they are making outrageous profits on our lives!

Just this week this number has been calling at 8:15 AM.  The phone rings twice then stops and they never leave a message.  We have a credit card with Chase but always make payments on time.  Not once have we been late.  I don't know what is going on - but I have to say seeing a call from Chase puts the cold hand of fear around my heart.

My husband had an accountant for his business who stole his identity running up all kinds of credit card debt in either my husband's name or the business name.  This guy even financed graduate classes with these cards.  My husband's lawyer couldn't prove that this man signed my husband's name to the applications (he had access to my husband's SS#).  So in a number of cases (this guy had taken out 12 credit cards) the cards were settled and my husband had to pay the settled charges even though he didn't make the charges. Now my husband has black marks against his credit rating.

Beware allowing anyone at all to have access to your social security no. or, if anyone works for you as a bookkeeper, accountant or just pays the bills have them bonded - or watch every move they make, every bill they pay, every deposit that is made.  Review your credit statements often. Trust is earned not given.

Our goal now is to have zero debt.  We spend very little - every cent goes to reducing our debt.  If aren't proactive in keeping yourself debt free the sharks surround you tearing off your flesh bit by bit. And who needs that.

I called this number back and the recording asked for my account number.  The message did not distinguish what company they were calling in regards to either.  When I waited for a person to talk to, she asked for my social security number and chase charge card numbers.  I let her know that I would call chase myself.  I AM NOT behind on my accounts.  I called chase and they checked and could not see a problem with my account and the account was not delinquent.

The next time they call, I have a very shrill whistle that I will be blowing in their ear.  It won't solve anything, but it sure will make me feel better!

No one can freeze your bank account if you don't give them the information. If you have, CLOSE that account. Duh. They cannot take your home. There are LAWS to protect consumers. yes, they can sue you. yes, if the JUDGE warrants it, they can garnish wages IF there are enough wages to be garnished. yes, they can may win a settlement. It means nothing. This is NOT a Chase number. This is a robo-call. This company CAN and SHOULD be reported to the FTC for harassment since repeated calls after you've told them to stop are ILLEGAL.
