Got a call from Scarborough RSC at quarter to 10 PM local time in Tucson AZ.  I answered the phone and a woman on the other end said that they were conducting a survey.  I asked her if she realized what time it was out here.  Her reply was Yes, that they call at this hour because people are more likely to be home.  I told here that I was not interested in their survey any to take me off their call list.  I thought that such calls were illegal after 9:00 PM.

They call after 9:00 PM  at night.

I assume it's a survey company calling to ask questions about media as I recently received mail from a company. They called at 9:45pm way too late to be receiving calls. Was on my way to bed, didn't answer, will be blocking number.

Stop calling me.   I have told you for the last time

There was a time when I allowed the telemaggoters to get me upset. But I eventually realized that it wasn't getting me anywhere. From there I learned to ignore the calls and before I knew I found myself laughing at the simple fact that they were never going to get me to answer.

We are on the Do Not Call List, and unlisted and they are still calling even at 9:18 PM. You can check who's calling by looking them up on the White Pages with a Reverse Phone Number Search - I checked the number and here is the results FYI -

in all caps.

This number calls anytime,sometimes very late. It never leave message.

This is a survey company that asked questions about what radio stations I listened to in last 30 days.  Same questions about TV, Newspapers and internet service.  They knew my mailing address and name somehow.  Said they may send additional survey thru the mail.

Scarborough should be renamed scammer borough they also use 941 3791954

I got a legit $5 bill in the mail I know it's illegal to send actual cash through mail but I'm not complaining free money is free money 😉

However, your post raises a question ...
If a REAL company sent you money, they would need a paper trail for their auditors, bean counters, and tax weenies to inspect.  Cash does not leave a sufficient paper trail.  Checks do.

So, my conclusions are:
1)  You are ignorant of the real laws concerning cash through the mail
2)  You may be a shill for this phone number, claiming you received money from them.

These guys actually run the research for the Nielson family. You can get paid a small sum for doing their surveys...its not a lot of money but hey..if your broke 5$ is still 5$. Plus you get a say on what cable channels play. My favorite is the music survey. Becouwe half the music is crap these days and the radio stations need to know what not to play. If you just kindly tell them your not interested they'll usually not bother you for awhile.

These idiots called me after 9 pm, twice and left a voicemail. I do have an unlisted number, am on the DNC registry,ETC. I have a real job  which means I get up very early (4:30 am) and go to bed early so I don't appreciate being woke up a for survey bs....

Under FTC protection you have the right to be placed on their internal do not call lists under all databases for business practices that can be described as fraudulent, unfair, deceptive, abusive acts, practices.
Nielsen and all their alternate names offer no OPT-OUT options so the consumer must initiate complaint and demand.
