We were getting continuous calls from these clowns which I was letting go to the machine.

Just for fun, one evening, I answered and went into a one-sided conversation if I was talking to someone trying to deliver a pizza and having trouble finding the house.  The person kept trying to interrupt and I kept telling him "left turn, not a right turn" and other random instructions.

Haven't called since.

Whether they got the message or just chalked me up to some crazy old guy doesn't really matter to me.

Caller ID showed "Nielsen".  Since it was nearly 10 p.m., I picked up the phone once and hung up. She promptly called back, at which time I answered. The woman said she was calling for Scarborough (sp?)  Research. Based on the time of day alone, I have blocked this as a nuisance number. I pay for a phone for MY convenience, not to be harassed by scammers, surveys, and other unsolicited calls.

They have been calling several times a day.  Last night it was at 9:30 pm.

I got very fed up with a caller one time that despite me telling them to stop, continued. I had enough information from them to submit them to a company that solicits selling new vehicles and it's relentless.. I signed them up for that and a few other services so they could learn what it felt like and I didn't have to spend continuous effort. Needless to say they never contacted me again and I didn't have to mark them as spam or block the number.

Idiots call day/night with different numbers.  Say they are trying to complete a survey.  Call other times and don't leave a message.  Do Not Answer...they are a pain in the A##!

Calls received (they change their number OFTEN) day and night.  Once left a message stating they were completing a survey.  Stupid questions, etc.  Wonder if calling law enforcement would help?  Doubt that the company is legit.  SCAMMER

Called at 9:30 at night. I picked up and hung up. They immediately called back. Picked up again and reamed them out for ringing my phone at 9:30 at night.

They called 9:57 no answer I said hello twice and no response

This number has called twice a day for a week, sometimes morning usually dinner time.  I have it blocked but they/machine obviously doesn’t get it.  Somebody needs to re-write laws on these rude hoodlums.  Maybe 30 years for first offense would be a deterrent.

I am pressing formal charges with this caller today theywill be charged with a crime .

What crime do you think they can be charged with?  Surveys are exempt from the DNC list and also not bound by the 8am to 9pm calling window for sales calls.  They are supposed to maintain and internal Do Not Call list and apparently there is an 800 number you can call to be placed on it.

Scarborough called again.  This time I was prepared.  I read the song lyrics.  They hung up when I reached Parsley, Sage, Roasemary and Thyme.  I thought this would be our Bridge Over Troubled dialing

I Was Prepared, too, but obviously in a different way since you opted to ANSWER the call. Doesn't matter what you do to them, the fact you answered, even better with a live voice, is good enough.
