Called me at 9:30 p.m. I asked why they were calling after 9:00 pm and the girl said they were told to call between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. because people "wouldn't be busy then."

She said it was research - not selling anything - and I hung up.

They also have called me quite late.  Once I finally answered I pretended to be a character similar to Mrs. Swan on SNL.  I say you no call me no more!  Screaming it into the phone.  I think I scared the person a bit.  When they asked me if anyone if my family was employed in the TV or radio industry, I say yes, we all movie stars!  You watch me on TV, channel 204 on Saturday, watch me, new reality show.  You watch!  (all while yelling at a very annoying volume).  I am not sure if they will call again, but it was fun for me and that's all that counts.

Please try and stop these calls.  I am on the DoNotCall list but this number calls at least once a day or more.

STATE   and they will trace the call...  *  57 on your phone after they called in..
 i caught a stacker once and the detective in my town called me in to  identify the ###...then they arrest them or warn them....  WORKS...I DON'T KNOW WHO THIS # IS 1-210-736-3080

I have asked them not to call anymore and yet they persist.

I called the number another poster suggested ((1-800-753-6043). I told the man that I have a private, unlisted number and that it is on the 'National Do Not Call Registry' and that I want to be removed from their data base. He was very courteous and stated that my number will be removed from their data base within 48-72 hours. The other poster did not confirm if she was removed from their data base. I will do a follow up and let everyone know if it worked.

I am posting back from my July 2nd post. Doing as I suggested, (calling 1-800-753-6043) seemed to have worked. I haven't received another phone call from Scarborough RSR. I hope this works for everyone. One gets more bees with honey than with vinegar, as the old saying goes. So, as difficult as it can be with a annoying company like Scarborough try to be polite and state your concerns in a matter of fact way and hopefully you'll have the same good luck that I did.

Our family has been receiving these hassassing phone calls up to 5 times a day all hrs of the day & night (up to 10pm) since the beginning of June 2010, it is now the middle of July 2010; calls from this Scarborough Research group/company. We too have received a letter from them with a one dollar bill inside the letter, stating they are desperately trying to get in contact with us to do a survey they are doing. At one point, there were zero phone messages, then a message would be left once a week. Now in the message a woman states they are desperate "to have you complete our survey before our critical" survery deadline "is up". What a load of crap. We don't have time for their garbage. And we too, are on the do not call list and our phone number is unlisted, however, when they've left messages, they have specified either my husbands first name or my first name as if they know us when they don't. Yes, they are violating a bunch of laws. In WA state, u used to be able to press either *57 or *69 after a harrassing person was repeatedly calling you; then after the 3rd traced call, u'ld call the phone company & the police & together the police & phone company would go after the person & have a lovely little chat. Write a letter to the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, the Texas state of ....and your local media and start making loads of complaints. We all have to do it in order to be heard. There are enough of us complaining about this company, make it known to everyone and anyone who'll listen. This has got to STOP and stop now! This is outrageous and unprofessional behavior of ANY company.

Okay people, here's info for us, for letter writing, emails, and phone calls complaining about this company! Here's what I found out about this c!ompany... they are not classified as a telemarketing organization, they are classified as a research compnay, making it pretty difficult to get them to fall into line with the do not call list. HOWEVER, I did find out.... the company's headquarters are in New York City.... and their "interviewing" locations are in San Antonio Texas, Coral Springs Florida and Sarasota Florida which is where they're calling from. The company is members of: The Better Business Bureau, the Market Research Association, the Council of American Survey Research Organizations, and The Council for Marketing & Opinion Research.

They've called repeatedly and today I received a postcard from them in the mail!!!

Called late afternoon.  I didn't answer and they left no message.  This is the first time they've called, but based on all the other comments I may be in for the duration!!!  Thanks to those who provided the toll free number, at least I'll know who to contact if they call again.

It was a survey - it took a while but they are sending me $5. I don't mind answering because I've actually made money working with research organizations before. My biggest concern is 1) if they are who they say they are (yes) and will they sell or use my information in any phishing scheme (no - or I would follow up with the attorney general and/or complaints to the Better Business Bureau).
I am, however, concerned about folks that have been hounded by the researchers and haven't been able to get off the call list. I'm going to do the printed surevey and when I send that in I'll follow up by reporting these problems to the company.

I have been receiving calls from this number the past several weeks.  The calls are daily and at different time and even on the weekends!  I chose not to answer because it is an unknown number.  I am on the Do Not Call list but this doesn't seem to concern anyone at this number.

These people keep calling me from Texas Call (210) 736-3080 all the time.  I have repeatedly told them to stop calling me yet they continue to do so.  Everytime they call me I report them to the attorney general.  Each time the attorney general basically says nothing can be done.  That isn't fair in my opinion.  My phone number is unlisted and on the do not call list.  So I will continue to report the call to the attorney general anyway.  I want my voice to be heard!  Come on people let our voices be heard keep reporting them to the attorney general anyway and hopefully something will be done!

2107363080, Scarborough research, calls nightly after kids are in bed.  Have been asked repeatedly to stop calling, and say they can not remove us fromthe list even though we're on all the do not call lists.  Did call the 1800 number given to me by the rep and asked to be removed from the calling list.  They  have continued to call despite our repeated requests they stop.  These people are awful!  Just want them to stop calling.
