are they asking for anybody else by your name.....they are me

I am going to figure out who and where they are.  They have called me 8 times, all after 8 PM.  I too have an unlisted number and am on the do not call list.  Yet, they seem secure in the idea that they can do what they damn well please.

So, when I track the suckers down, I'm invoicing them for each of the calls and charging a penalty for the last 7 calls - made after I instructed them to NEVER call me again.  If they do not pay  my invoice, I will take them to small claims court and collect.

They are using my infrastructure to conduct their business.  They do NOT have permission to use my infrastructure.

I am sick and tired of these people calling our house after 7pm at night!

Have also been getting calls every night from 210-736-3080.  Called 1-800-753-6043 tonight and asked to be taken off their call list.  Thanks for posting the 800 number. Hope it works!

They advised that they are a "research" company and not a 'telemarketer' therefore they are exempt from the "Do Not Call" per Congress.

Time to make a change in that don't you guys think?

I googled Scarborough Research in Texas, San Antonio and sent them an e-mail, all CAPS.   Also, I went on Facebook and told them to stop calling people after 9 PM.  I received a phone call at 9:48 PM as well as in the daytime.    Since I have call block on my phone (Panasonic cordless)  I BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER.     My suggestion is to e-mail them, call them or annoy them also!

Have some fun with them.. Start talking dirty for a few of the calls, then maybe a [***] on another but put some thought into them and record them and BOOM!! Your an instant Jerky Boy millionaire!!!

When caller ID displays this number we don't pick up and they leave no message. There have been several calls though, enough for me to take the time to complain about it on here. Throwing my name in the pot to have these idiots stop calling and harrassing people. I thought this was illegal to harrass people over the phone.....hmmmm.  Does anyone with authority see all of these complaints???

I have also recieved calls like this.  From what I have found out its not a telemarketing company but a group of people trying to scam you to get either credit card information or your computer information so they can access your home computer.  If you do recieve calls like this, be sure to get their phone number, name(if possible), and company along with whatever other details you can without telling them anything about yourself so it can be reported to the company they say they work with if its a real one or possibly just let the local PD know about it so they can let ppl know to be aware.

They call and call and call...  Even after asking them to please take of off their list, they keep calling. I get a little bothered by them but I can't help but feel sorry for such pathetic souls. They must live very sad lives.

After 7 call in just 5 days I have reported this caller to my "Do Not Call List" and still they keep on calling.  What can I do to stop these calls?

Likes to call me after 9PM and wake up my kids.  I'm fed up.

AGAIN THIS CALLER HAS CALLED FOR THE NINTH TIME IN ONE WEEK AND I HAVE REPORTED AGAIN TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST.  LAST NIGHT WAS THE FIRST TIME THEY LEFT A MESSAGE, AGAIN IT'S THIS 9:00 PM LOCAL TIME THIS MARKETING SURVEY ASKING "WE WANT TO ASK YOU SOME QUESTION ABOUT YOUR NEWS PAPER SUBSCRIPTION - YOUR TELEPHONE SERVICE - YOUR CELULLAR PROVIDER - YOUR TELEVISION SERVICE" AND A BUNCH OF OTHER QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT MY LIKES AND DISLIKES ABOUT OTHER ITEMS.  THIS IS GOT TO END I'M VERY PUT OUT ABOUT THIS TEXAS CALLER.  I JUST HOPE THIS WILL END SOON AS I AM ABOUT READY TO CHANGE MY TELEPHONE NUMBER ALTHOUGH I HAVE HAD THIS NUMBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS.  I AM AT A TOTAL LOST IN WHAT TO DO...

I changed my number and now I am getting these calls. I never did before. they have called after nine and I too have reported them to the do not call regestry. doesn't seem to matter.

This makes the 10th call this month all at (9:00 PM Local time).  I have notifed the Do Not Call also 10 times this month and still I get these darn calls at (9:00 PM) just like clock work again I have got these calls with out any message left.  But with the help of the internet I'm able to find sites like this to write about them.

I am reciving calls from the above telephone numer every evening and now have started getting them daily. I want this to stop.

The above phone number keeps call eveyday.  Sometimes twie a day.  Since I don't know the phone number I don't answer.  I just let the answering machine take a message, but they person don't leave any.  I don't like repeated phone calls and no messages.  How can I get them to stop calling all the time.

They are Scarborough Research. They are not bound by the same rules as a telemarketer because research companies are not covered by the law. They are perfectly aware that what they do is extremely annoying. They make no apologies for this and basically tell you that they make these annoying calls because they CAN. I had a "researcher" argue with me over my assertion that what they do is invasive and rude. She would not give up.

I think it's noteworthy that what they do is not "marketing," per se but it is done by a private, profit-making company for financial gain (theirs). Thus, they should never have bheen given a set-aside from the dnc law. Their website does have a link that allows one to give them "feedback." I think everyone who gets called by these reprobates after they've been told NOT to call, should use this link to give them a piece of your mind. They deserve it for holding their callees in contempt.
