This business, the financial service industry, is a SINK OR SWIM business. Many americans dont know how to swim with no support and thus you are "administrative assistants" answering phones for someone else. Or you are "self employed" working from home in your living room. Or better yet, you work 9-5 and complain when your supervisor asks you to work overtime. The reason you cant swim on your own is because you are weak. You lack the fortidue to internalize the fact that at some point in your life you will fail. And that in order to succed you will have to swallow your pride pick up the pieces and try again. YOU ARE AFRAID. This is why you rely on someone else to pay your salary, to authorize days off, to tell you what to think. The real reason most financial professionals are professionals (excluding the obvious money), is because they have an unsatiable desire to be the best. you cannot be the best if you work for a boss and are not financialy free. And please do your homework. Many of the worlds top businessmen are not graduates from top universities in fact many dont even graduate. But i garauntee that they all share the similar desire to be the best. Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if you are comfortable being comfortable.

I have 1 account out of 6 with this firm, they have proven their worthiness with an over 20% increase within 6 months.

Anyone giving them a bad rap is just a hater, they are a huge success in wall street, THEY WOULDN'T BE ON WALL STREET IF THEY WEREN'T.  Not to mention DIRECTLY across from the NYSE.

I don't care what anyone says about this firm, they have proven worthy for me, and i don't know about you guys, what you do or who you are, what your worth or what you do for a living but my net worth is well over 6 figures, and yes they did talk me into getting an account.  WORTH IT!!

cold calling is not a big deal, every and i mean EVERY firm does it.

people are just jelouse of the growth and success of this company that has happened in the past 3 years since 2008.

just like any other firm, there will be good brokers and bad brokers, you should hear what he or she has to say and look up the stock and reviews on it and recomendations on it, and if what you see you like , give the guy money...if you think hes a [***] broker and just selling stocks that the firm says are good, then [***] him becuase he/she should do his own research too

i used to have accounts at morgan stanley and i wouldnt go back to a big brokerage for my life dependant on it..this place is doing great for me, havent lost a dime yet and everytime i go on their website and look at my account it puts a smile on my face

Were Located on 14 wall street.   One of NYC famous Buildings.   Were right across the street from the NYSE. and located in the same building like Barclays, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. not to mention  Jim  Kramer Tapes his show in our Building.     I Love this Company , its my Home and my future.  When we become the next Bear Sterns, I'm going to Laugh at all of you who hate on us. My girlfriend was a sales at this bucket shop. The firm is run by a crook who admitted that he stole cars and dealt drugs. He admitted this under oath. Look it up - it is public record under us government versus Tarantino. The alleged murderer is a childhood friend of his that he is currently ratting on.  Why is he ratting on a old friend?? What did he get caught doing that caused him to do this so he would get a break or a lighter sentence? I looked on his public crd on finra.com and he hasn't disclosed it which I don't understand why it isn't disclosed yet. Maybe he is hiding this from the SEC but I was told by a close friend who works at JP Morgan that you must disclose any arrest - looks like Belesis worked out something with the government to not disclose it , too bad the dope didn't realize the trial testimony is public. Makes great reading he admits how he sold marijuana and stole cars which he sold to the guy on trial for murder and some guy Steve Milligan supposedly another friend of his.  Then the lawyer rips John Thomas apart by saying to belesis on your firms website you state you are bringing "dignity back to wall street" hahahahahaha I will get anyone interested the link to the site that has the testimony. It is a huge file, I will try to just pull out some of Belesis testimony and post it so some of you can see what your dealing with.       By the way this is the caliber of the people that work at this firm- just read the post before mine.  The employee uses the Defunct Bear Stearns as a firm to emulate!! He is right about one thing - they will end up just like bear ended up!!! Hahahahahahah LOSER. Soon as found out what kind of people work at this company I told my girl to get the he'll out if there. She is having a tough time finding a new job I believe because of having to list this firm as her last place where she worked. Good news is she wasn't employed by these yo-yo's for a long period of time. Hopefully some legitimate firms will understand that she didn't know any of this stuff till she got there since the information like I said wasn't disclosed where you would think it should be. Had to do some digging but it's all on the web if you now how to surf well.

Oh my girlfriend just told me she also read in the testimony that Belesis now drives around in a RollsRoyce !! Great story from stealing cars to riding in a rolls- the American success story !!! Hahahhaha could you imagine seeing some 30 year old driving in a rolls Royce?? Car I picture my great grandfather driving. This place is comical

Well, every positive sounding post is probably Belesis himself. His brokers are leaving one by one, because this firm is going down. He admitted to stealing cars and hiding them in storage units. His friend Tarantino had him rent a storage unit to hide the Murder weapens. Belesis used a friends drivers licence  to rent the unit. That guy is in a coma for 18 years after the athoritys got wind of what was going on and questioned the poor guy. shortly after he was run down on his motercycle. When Belesis was questioned by the Feds in 2005 about all this, He lied and denied everything. The Govt. was going forward with prosecuting Belesis for lying to a Federal Agent. At this time he became an employee for the govt. recieved imunity for testifying against his friend and also recieved a promise that he wouldn't be indicted for his crimes. He has actually commited an unconvicted Felony that Finra and the SEC knows nothing about. Nor did Belesis ever report on his U4 to Finra that he was ever involved, questioned, or gave testamony in a criminal or cival case.
The Guy who is sapposed to Reform  Wall Street!!! yea Drug Dealer, Car Thief, lying to the Feds just a few years ago. CMON. Look it up youself genious. and when he goes down, he will probably continue his Govt. employment and  bring a few of you guys "Oh Sorry" ( Angels) down as well.

I work at JTF...yes, there are a few [***] there but the truth of the matter, we are a brokerage firm.  We make money off of other peoples money, while giving them a good percentage of return on their money.

Most of the senior brokers are actually very talented, some bring in multi millions of dollars a year off of commission (there are no day traders; people who trade there own money, plus houses money).  Which means they have a lot of very wealthy clients who trust them, otherwise they would leave them.

and the guy who's asking for your social security number is probably just messing around with you, because you probably have the same person calling you everytime, or same team.  Call JTF, tell them there name and that they are harassing you. and either way the phones are recorded, plus video survaliance.

Even places like merril lynch cold call, morgan stanley, and other big names cold call.  Now the reason why you might not be getting a phone call from them every week is because they are not an independant, growing firm (growing fast none the less), that is trying to establish a clientel basis.  They do not except as many junior brokers, as in they do not train or sponsor that many individuals for their series 7/63 exam.  The reason is because they already went through what John Thomas Financial is going through now, but back then in the 80s and 90s, EVERYONE wanted to invest so cold calling was easy, it was just which firm got to the millionair first.

FYI, we are on Wall St, directly across from the NYSE, at 14 Wall St.  YOU CAN'T GET ON WALL ST WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING GOOD.......OR AMAZING

but beign a stock broker, this is what you do, you make a [***] load of phone calls trying to build a clientel.

like a person mentioned above, the reason you get so many phone calls from JTF is because they are a growing firm and make hundreds of phone calls a day each.  goldman sachs, morgan stanley, they have ALL went through this.

actually, its impossible to be a stock broker and not have a high school degree, FINRA rules.

you need a 3.6gpa JUST TO GET AN INTERVIEW.

you need connections or your family needs to know people.

and with morgan stanley, you need to know people too.  and they are hardly hiring stock brokers, they have plenty.
