- BeverlyI never pick up calls from numbers I do not recognize. This number never leaves a message on my answering machine, but it keeps calling even though I'm on a do-not-call list. (A lot of good that does.)
- MarthaCalled and I called back said the number was not a working number. Some scam artist I guess. Go figure. Spoof fake number. A HOLES

- It IS ALL A SCAM FOLKS! replies to Billie| 3 repliesWarning!!! Scam!!!
This scam is old. Every newspaper, news agency, police department have reported and warned about this scam. A simple Google search of "medical alert scam" will show how problematic these scammers are. Sadly, people everyday continue to fall for it, especially the elderly.
There is no company, there are no services, there isnt any device. Any automated call that YOU didnt ask for selling you anything is 100% illegal. They are criminals looking to steal your credit card information for personal use and identities. Theft is the only service provided. They disguise their caller ID and company name because there isn't one.
NEVER EVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!
Stop it, especially to callers WHO CALL YOU. Be suspicious, folks.
Telemarketing calls are illegal. Report every call, but especially warn others. Not everyone uses 800notes. Report to State and DNC list. Don't bother blocking number, they will use another, then another one, and another one after that and so on. All the call signs are the same.
YOU WILL RECEIVE MORE CALLS. Get use to it, just know the signs and ignore the calls. All the numbers are out of area. Watch out for weird caller id's and all unwarranted automated calls. Any call that is automated about lowering your interest rate, home security, medical alert, fix your computer, a survey with an award, or free giveaways will be a scam. 100%.
Report WARN IGNORE.

- It IS ALL A SCAM FOLKS!And keep in mind, criminals do not care about the law. Hence, why you will continue to receive numerous calls of this type. All they want is your personal information for their own benefit. Thieves.
- It IS ALL A SCAM FOLKS!
- TonyPerhaps if someone located the office they use and walked in and killed 4 or 5 of these scumbags, the callers would think twice. There are thousands of angry people receiving these calls and I'm sure someone will go postal soon and eliminate some of these scumbags soon. I know the courts won't bother going after these people.

- savannah43 replies to It IS ALL A SCAM FOLKS!| 1 replyOne other thing: Do NOT use an answering machine or VM. I have Caller ID, and if I don't know the number or cannot find it on the internet, I just delete it. NEVER answer any call where you don't recognize the number calling. You do not need an answering machine or VM. Caller ID records all calls, and you can then choose who you want to talk to. VM and answering machines are just a ploy to get people to spend money on unnecessary junk. Once you have a caller's number, what more do you need? A message that says, "Call me when you get this?"
- W. KirkBecause I thought it might be a possible placement lead from a casting agency, I wanted to be sure. Made the mistake of dialing the number to find out. Tried twice and both times got only a busy signal. I won't make that mistake again but am I forever recorded as a "real number" as the result? I am listed on a supposedly don't call list.
- AnonymousReally Medical Alert help for the elderly WTF? These idiots are thinking about calling robocall random for annoying too much, Those [***] criminals don't matter the age of the people Who are bugging?
- Caller: New York, NY big apple of deception.
- RobertI am in South Carolina received call to my cell phone from 212-677-5122 at 7:15PM on Oct 23rd '13
Did not answer. They didn't leave a message. - RexHangs up after 4th ring....do not answer any of these kind of calls . Caller ID just shows number..twice.
- ANEreceived call from this # several times. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY? Seems we are getting a lot of calls from telemarketers, etc. They need to be taken DOWN.
- JackiAbout what you'd expect from NYC.....invest in call blocking either thru AT&T or a phone (I have Uniden) that allows you to block calls from descignated numbers...well worth the investment!

- Kathy BReceived my first call from these jokers. Since I never answer any calls from names or numbers I don't know, I have no clue if they left a message. I'm not senior enough, that I need what they may be offering, but wouldn't give out credit card info in a "cold call" situation, no matter what. Fell for one scam in my email, but my bank saved me, and the card was cancelled immediately - since that fiasco, I've become a skeptic in most situations. We need to be smarter, and take responsibility for our info and whom we share it with! Eyes wide open!

- Ken430TX replies to JanSYou just let the scammers know that your number is a working number! Now your number will be sold to every scammer in the world!
- Hating on Medic AlertWhy, why, why don't they stop? Who on earth buys anything from them? There is nothing anyone can do about the telescammer plague except not have a phone. To think Washington is collecting information on U.S. citizens' cell phone records but can't stop this blatant harassment is ludicrous.
- Caller: Bottom Feeder Medic Alert
- Call type: Telemarketer
- VixenI pick up the phone, lay it on the table & walk away. They finally get tired & hang up. At least this keeps them from calling another person for a minute or so. I've found that doing this keeps my blood pressure down. I hate these calls!
- fedupCaller ID says New York. I don't answer the phone any more. Leave people alone. I pay for the phone for the convenience of those who live here, not for telemarketers and scammers. Can't someone please make them stop?
