Scam they are useing a spoof number report them

I keep getting those phony  computer calls from someone using 212-720-6130.  The number  belongs to
the Federal Reserve Bank.  I spoke to FRB bank who didn't care and told me to call the FCC.  I called the
FCC and registered a specific complaint including days and times of the calls. They took the info but also did
not seem to care.  Someone in authority should care.

The FCC gets thousands of complaints daily.  The fact that they didn't give your complaint special attention considering the scope of what they have to process is not to be unexpected. They do care, but they certainly are not going to trip over themselves to handle your single complaint.

These people keep calling me and attempting to gain access to my computer.  initially they told me that my apple OS 10.10 had an issue with Windows 1) emitting error messages and  2) downloading malicious files and that they could assist me; but needed access to my computer.  They were very persistent.  I informed them that if there were an issue with my computer than i would get face to face tech support at a company of my choice.  They called again, I informed them that I had no interest in what they were saying and that I filed a police report and the FCC and the notified  the FRB of NY (which comes up on my phone ID).  They said "so what!" we aren't afraid of the police because we haven't done anything wrong.  and then...he attempted to bully me by saying WHAT? YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO SAY" after I remained silent.  they called again and I sent straight to voice message.  the voice/accent was one of Middle Eastern decent.

The FEDS won't get involved.  They might actually get something done if they tried.  But, the Obama administration (such that it is) doesn't give a rat's patoot in a klondike about the citizens of the USA being harassed via phone.  They really don't.  So..........we might as well just keep ignoring the calls and block them as they arrive.

Someone in authority?  In the Obama administration?  That's funny.

Caller asked for me by name, said that they had a message that my computer was downloading junk files and they could help me stop this by guiding me through some sort of process to fix it. Told me that he had my registry ID to prove that he was legitimate. Also had my email address (that I use for junk mail). Kept asking me if I could be by my computer and when I said that I couldn't, he said he would call back when I was available. What a load of crap!

Said she was from "Microsoft Technical Support"

Tired of getting calls from 212-720-6130 & never answered until today. She says they are receiving messages that my computer is downloading illegal malicious things. I had my doubts as call did not sound right. Did not take the lady long to hang up. I wish I could block this number with Sprint. Not sure if I can?

This is so sketchy.  They called as PC Services out of NYC and work for Microsoft.  They wanted a number on my computer so they could check for errors.  I spent 15 minutes telling them to add me to the do not call list and calling them scumbags.  .They finally hung up and said my PC would no longer work.  Ha!

got a call from 212 720 6130 today I just unhook phone and hang it back up  I had several phone calls from that number before I had told them not to call back they had told me my comp had very serious problems I even reported this number to crtc and they still manage to call back and imagine I got a unlisted phone number

I have received calls from this number once a day for 2 weeks, saying it was the Fed Reserve. On Dec 19, 2015, at 2:30 pm, I received a call from this number. The man with an Iranian accent, said he was calling from Windows PC Services. I have to download a program to make my computer run faster. I asked how he got my number. He said through my computer registration. Then he asked if I had my breakfast!! I googled the Windows PC services and read it was a scam. I mentioned this to him and hung up!

Calling my cell phone at least three times a day.  I finally answered and they knew my name.  Said they were calling about Windows on my computer.

One call yesterday, from blocked number. I told him he was a con and fraud, and not to call me again. Second call today, was from
1-212-720-6130 which is NY Federal Reserve Bank.  I told this individual I didn't have a computer I used the library computer, then he went on about suspicious activity blah blah blah. I told him the same thing I told the first caller, your a scam, don't call me again.  The next freaking caller I am going to tell them to spell their complete name, and then I hope you don't mind, I am going to put you on a brief hold while I call the Attorney General, so that we can have a three way conversation.

Maybe they got our phone numbers from Microsoft.
I told them I may have been born at night but not last night.

The last part really made me laugh. The man that spoke to me had a thick Indian accent. I really was having trouble understanding him, plus poor reception and my kids were being loud. He was getting frustrated by the number of times I said, "What did you say?"

I have been repeatedly bothered by these calls, sometimes when I say hello, no one answers and sometimes there's someone with a heavy as in accent, telling me they are from American Global that handles all of Windows Tech service.  The last one said that for the last few months my internal software has warnings and errors.  He says if minor there will be no charge, if major he will advise.  I let him think I was falling for his crap and acted like I was going to let him remotely access my computer, then I started messing with him and asking him a lot goofy questions.  Eventually he told me he was going to make my life a living hell and hung up.

I start off by telling the caller that the call is being recorded and ask them to acknowledge.....  they always hang up.

I love it...Hit em back!!!  Makes my day a little happier,  They have called me but I just hit disconnect and put the on call reject.  Wish I had the time to do what you did, that was great!!!!
