It may have to do with a Fee promotional Spam pop ups that I've heard many people get promoting Free TV's and other products but to be able to qualify you have to sign up for a lot of crap. Thats how many people get these types of calls.
Most are from a site called http://www.producttestpanel.com who has spam pop ups how to get a Free HD TV for Free, and people fall for this. To get the TV they say you have to pick a bunch of products to test, and thats how many people are getting these types of calls. If it sounds to good to be true,it probably is.

Call them and complain...at 1-800-964-4593 7-6 pm MST THEY are the ones spamming us with calls.

I have been getting calls from this number every day at least three times! Thank god I have Cricket! It always puts me on hold for the next represenative. Now when I call it back right after they call me, the operator says that it is not a working number!

The first call I answered and spoke to a represenative. They were asking me about a blockbuster membership. I told her no that I wasnt interested. This number has repeatedly called me 3-4 times on a daily basis! When I try to return the call after they called me, the operator says that it is not a working number! I would really appreciate if my number is removed.

I got three calls today and answered the third.  Automated message that said they had a call for me and actually got a Blockbuster rep on the phone saying I had an incomplete registration for their online service and they wanted to walk me through the completion.  Hope this helps.

I would get 4 phone calls between 1000 and 1100 while i was at work then get 2 at nite. I looked into it an contacted the 1800 number above and hopefully they will clearly see that people dont want them calling.

OK!  I have the answer.  I have called the company, which the number is 800-456-2092. The same guy answers the phone each time.  I put him on speakerphone and then take a mini recorder stating the date and the time and ask him not to call and record him saying he will take care of it.
I have this recorded over 15 times that I have called these people.  I then contacted my attorney general in my state and have an attorney working with me.  Record yourself and the person on speaker and make it clear you want the calls to stop.  The guy will say ok, i will tell them to stop and then the calls start up again over and over.  I am starting a working email for those interested in filing a class action lawsuit.  I have the attorney lined up for this and will be working it pro-bono.  The FCC isn't doing anything about it, so if you are interested, please send an email to suzysnap@yahoo.com.  I will contact you with how we will proceed!

Well I can top you all.   Friday I received 14 calls from the 213-426-2701 number, none of which I was there to answer and of course they left no voicemail.    Today I received 4 calls!!!!!  

SO after reading the posts here I called the 800 number.

I have been receiving calls from 213-426-2701 for the past week at least 5 times a day. When I answer the phone, my phone says call ended. I called back to tell them to stop calling and I stayed on hold for 40 minutes without an answer. Finally I gave up. Stupid huh? How in the world do you get these people to quit calling you? It interupts my other calls and It's driving me nuts!
