I am on the do not call list and somehow they have called both my house and my cell number.  I don't know how they get it.

dude wtf i dey always call me between 4 to 5 times daily this shitt driving me crazy

I have received numerous calls from this number today and have not visited any sites for Acai Berry, teeth whitener or Blockbuster.  It is illegal for them to call earlier than 8:00AM or later than 9:00PM in your time zone. The calls that came in while I was home it only rings 2 times & nobody is there.


There is another scam to be aware of. This has not happened to me but to a friend. This is the email sent to me about it. Caller ID showed Unknown caller.

90# on your telephone

I dialed '0', to check this out, asked the operator,  who confirmed that this was correct so please pass it on . ... . (l also checked out Snopes.com. This is true, and also applies to cell phones!)

PASS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW

I received a telephone call last evening from an individual identifying himself as an AT&T Service Technician (could also be Telus) who was conducting a test on the telephone lines. He stated that to complete the test I should touch nine(9), zero(0), the pound sign (#), and then hang up.  Luckily, I was suspicious and refused.  

Upon contacting the telephone company, I was informed that by pushing 90#, you give the requesting=2 0individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone number.

I was further informed that this scam has been originating from many local jails/prison s   DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE.

The GTE Security Department requested that I share this information with EVERYONE I KNOW.

After checking with Verizon they also said it was true, so do not dial 90# for anyone!!!!!

Kept getting calls--3 in 2 1/2 hours.  Something didn't seem right, so I came here and found all this wonderful info about other people being harrassed.  I finally was availble to take the 4th call tonight at 6:15 pm.  A woman with a thick accent (unknown) was calling and asked for me by name.  I asked who they were and I was told it was GOOGLE PROFIT.  I requested info on this months ago, but decided not to do it.  The trial period was 60 days and just $4.95 s/h.  After that it woul be $60.00 a month charged to your card.  Something didn't feel  right so I exited out of the site but my info was still there but luckily no CC#.  I told her I was not interested in anything they had to sell and told her that I had researched the number on-line and found out that a lot of calls that come from this number are from 3rd party telemarketers and to take my name off immediately or I would go to the FCC as I have proof that many people,aside from myself, are complaining.  She said she would take me off---after being snotty about it.  Lets see what happens.....

I too have been on the Acai Berry website and wondering if that is the harassing calls. Also, I noticed that since I have been on careerbuilder.com that I have been receiving similar calls. When I check into it, I find out that it's a scam and usually connected to identity theft. They call consistently every night and late too. It makes me so angry. Get a clue! Not answering, so not interested...

Called three consecutive mornings. Hangs up immediately if you answer.

No more calls

They have my name and number
They said I signed up on Google for running my own online business
They called with a follow-up call yesterday
I'm not interested
They're preying on what they believe to be stupid people

Received the call at 9:26am 11/6/2009.  I answered . . nobody was on the other end.  I am on the Do not Call listing and do not want to receive further contact from this number

These people are calling my cell phone. Don't know how they got my number and don't remember going on any website to sign up for stuff.
Odd. I'm just glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for the info.
