I have donated [***] to anyone so I don't know how the [***] got my number.  It's really amazing.  I have a new phone number, never used, and I don't give it out to any and yet somehow people get the number.  I suspect COMCAST sells numbers.  I never give my home number to anyone, only cell if required.  I'm reporting them to Do Not Call List, and I will continue to report them until the "do not call list"" people know my [***] and are so sick of seeing my "comments" to their lame [***] they do something about it.  There should be NO exemptions.  I don't want calls from any company except the ones I personally do business with.  Period.  I'm not giving up so easily and if everyone else followed my lead instead of just giving up maybe we could actually cause some change.

Telefund is a company that is paid for each successful contact to donors to remind them to update their memberships or to call for a special appeal through fund raising for mostly progressive organizations. ALL the money raised by Telefund goes directly to each progressive organization.

Telefund's carrier is Verizon Wireless, so either TELEFUND or VERIZON WIRELESS may show up on your Caller ID.

If you are receiving multiple calls from Telefund, it is because different Telefund offices are attempting to contact you.

Telefund will continue to contact you until you have either:

   Donated money
   Informed them that you cannot participate in this round of fundraising, for whatever reason it may be.

Received calls on 2/15 and 1/16/13. Unknown and did not answer, assumed telemarketer.

This is a legitimate charitable donation service.

Although it is exempt from the DNC list, it is not exempt from the rules requiring deletion from their database upon request.

Send an e-mail to info@telefund.com and they will remove you. I received a personal confirmation from them within moments of making the request.

It is regrettable that telephonic solicitations cannot be trusted, but I find the calls irksome and bothersome. It is equally unfortunate charities assume that by making a donation you are agreeing to be bothered at home for even more donations. I certainly did not make such agreement.

I have received 17 calls (up to 3x per day) from this number since Jan. 29th, 2013. I emailed info@telefund.com to ask them to remove me from their call list, so let's hope I don't start getting spammed too. So Verizon is selling our numbers to nonprofit fundraising agencies?

This number has been calling me three times a day and five days a week. It's very irritating. I hope there's a way to stop these calls.

This call comes in each afternoon - every day this week.  I just hang up.

Several calls a day. Weekends & weekdays. No message. No idea. Who are these people?

Having to pick up the phone and take ANY action to stop these idiots is a bunch of BS! Telemarketers should have no more right to call into my private residence than a live soliciter has to just walk into my house and begin shouting demands for me to buy something. Since the advent of the Internet, marketing has become an insidious, insulting, outrageous, irritating blend of pushy, time-wasting, distractions which clutter up the all-important digital bandwidth and create continuous tension in our already information-overloaded lives.

I am being called repeatedly by these crooks, who are trying to get into my hard drive, under the guise of repairing/maintaining it.
