Ya gotta love Telefund!  I love them so much I have blocked all of their numbers.

They can never call me again.

Buy a call-blocking phone.  Uniden and Panasonic make wonderful call blocking phones and they're inexpensive.  They also come with at least one wireless handset.  Very handy!!!

213-487-9500 calls 2 and 3 times some days at all different times.  Calls on weekends too.  Nobody there if you try to answer.

The is a progressive fund raising group.  It says you can enter extension 304 and leave a message to have your number removed.  I tried to call extension 304 and the mailbox is full.

It's a political/charitable company with the motive of getting donations.

If you call this number back, you are directed to dial 3-0-4 to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list; but once you dial 3-0-4, the machine continues to say that this mailbox is full and hangs up.

Next time they call, don't be afraid to answer and just demand they put you on the DO NOT CALL list and that's it.

Calls multiple times a day when I'm at work and can't answer. I have tried to call back to tell them to remove me from their list, but the mailbox is always full.

The national and state Do Not Call registries are for commercial solicitations, and unfortunately do not cover nonprofit and political calls.

Telefund is a marketing agent for charities. It is my reading of the DoNotCall Registry that Telefund is not an exempt organization even though it may call for exempt organizations. Complain at the www.donotcall.gov site. IANAL, but they appear to be violating a number of regulations. They do not answer when you pick up. Thus I can suspect that they are using autodialers in a way that is not consistent with requirements of law. And likely more.

Calls my cellphone twice a day, never leaves a message.  Today I caught the call but there was just silence on the other end.

They have been calling me every day for about a month now. Enough is enough! I've learned my lesson about giving out my number.

The FCC is doing nothing with this information but collecting statistics.   Non-enforcement of the list is the whole reason you are seeing an upsurge in the number of these calls.  Read the material on the complaint site if you want to verify what I'm saying

213-487-9500 is the most annoying daily caller.  So persistent and so mute. I usually just hang up, but when I answer there is never anyone there.  They call more than once a day.  It is harrassment.  It says telefund.  Woe be to their poor clients.

I get several calls a day from this number. I've tried to answer a couple of times (to tell them off!), but there is never anyone on the line--just computer beeps. I'm  thinking it's a fax machine with an automated distribution list. It's driving me nuts, but I can see from all these posts that changing my number probably would do no good, What a drag!!!

Calling twice a day for the last week -- finally got a person just this moment asking for money from the ACLU.  A nice older lady said she would take my name off the list.  

Giving the ACLU money just once when I was stopped by fundraisers on the street several years ago was a terrible decision from a harassment standpoint -- over the years they have employed the shadiest telemarketers I have ever encountered.  One even yelled at me when I asked to be taken off his list years ago.  I have written the ACLU asking them to take me off all of their lists, but every now and then they decide to call me again.
