I am so glad I did some research before calling these hacks back.  I don't have any credit cards nor outstanding debt and I get this voicemail today from "Brian Knight" stating he's calling for Attorney Nichole Brown.  I almost called them back because it sounded so serious, but knowing I don't have any debt I decided to research first.  Glad I did, I have no time for this nonsense.

This place is a joke . The attorney is not the owner. A convicted felon larry weil is, hes not supposed work in the finance industry so he puts it in his wife Marys name as well as his cronies Joe Torok, Charles Riter, and Belinda Linton-Hall. Theres also a bill collector aka hooker Tina Woods real name Shalimar Blow shes from the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Yes Blow is her last name and it fits her well as she blows her superiors managers named Quassim aka Quincy Johnson, and also services brothers -Willie Days aka Matthew Bullock and Oliver Days(real name) and these are married men . On occasion she has blew the brothers at the same time . Shes disgusting!!!! People should know the truth about these scum people you are giving your hard earned money to. Shalimar Blow aka Tina Woods does this for payments so she can get paid commission and bonus. Thier wives should know! What does on in the parking lot and on their lunch hour. Oliver is also sleeping with the operator. Their wives and everyone should be aware they may contract stds.

If  people would pay their bills  they wouldn't get  calls. Statute of limitations does not erase debt. shame on you for trying to use the statute of limitation for not paying what you owe!

I have nothing in common with this party..first off he didn't tell me I was being recorded!!  Told me my son used my number to them ... WRONG! I've only had this number less than 2 yrs my son didn't have this number. He lied to me! Debt collector for my son's college which was being paid for by the  college cuz he worked there..

This guy keeps calling me, saying I have debt with a college I've never even attended... and actually tried to tell me that they were going to pursue criminal charges for this debt!  I hung up on him the first time, telling him that I never attended that college and that I would not be a victim of fraud.  He called again tonight and when I repeated what I had said in the previous conversation, he got rude with me when I said I would not pay, and stated "you are not above the law.  I work for an attorney's office."
I hung up on him and blocked the number.  I have no debt to whatever college he was referring to.  I know the two colleges I went to, and have been making payments through my federal student loan.
It's a scare-tactic scam.

You obviously work for this scam-artist operation.  You should be ashamed that you even said that these victims of your unlawful practices are unwilling to pay their debts.  The call I got was for a debt for a college that  I'm pretty sure your company just made up.  My credit score is impeccable and I knew this was a scam from the start.
Your scare-tactics are lame and I;m sure you and your cronies will all end up in jail - where you should be!

Called and left message for someone not at my number.  I called back and he was being very obnoxious about this loan I took out.  I told him I was not the person he called, no one was living here by that name and I have no loans and if he called again I would have him reported.

This company is FRAUD ALERT.  Read the posts - they have tried calling me and others using a blocked caller ID.
Looking to collect on OUT OF STATUTE DEBTS.

Report them to law enforcement for telecommunications harassment.  
Remember; if Oxford Law had a legal right to sue you - you would be hearing from the court process server
.....not some rude person lying on the phone and making illegal collection threats.

Check your State laws about the statue of limitations on consumer debts.  Debts from identify theft claims and bank charged off debts generally made uncollectable after, 3-5 years - these are zombie debt collection companies that cannot collect a dime - unless they trick you into payment.

Tactics of telephone terrorism.

If company calls you more than once -- after being told to STOP......report their telephone terrorism to your local law enforcement for relief/  You are entitled to have your peaceful enjoyment.  Don't put up with harassment.  If the debt has gone beyond the statute of limitations in your state.    You simply do not have to pay and no one can collect that money.

Notify your local law enforcement if the calls continue.  These scam artists are alleged to be calling people's employer, neighbors and family relations.

If they had any real legal claim....they would be serving you with a court summons.  
They just want to trick people into sending them money for old debts or debts of other people.  They make a telephone threat and hope you will send them money.   In many cases; they don't have any legal claim to the debt or bought the debt for pennies on the dollar.  

One other thing.....Remember - if you make ANY PAYMENT on EXPIRED, and out of statute debts.....in some states...that reactivates the debt.   Stop the fraud and report them today!

They are trying to collect OUT-OF-STATUTE debt.

DO NOT HAVE DISCUSSION WITH CALLER or even care what information they have..  
Attempts to revive old debt; sometimes referred to as "zombie-debt" are meritless.
Read the posts here above....Caller wants you to verify social security number.  
Do not admit anything and do not discuss anything -  tell them to just stop calling you.

Inform caller to "cease and desist" further contact.  
Write down date and time of call.
Should they call you again once you tell them to Stop, go ahead notify law enforcement.

BE CERTAIN TO REFUSE ANY CERTIFIED, EXPRESS OR OVERNIGHT MAIL they may send to your home.  
Should they actually try to sue you on old debt (doubtful) - have your attorney dismiss the case and sue them for harassment and financial recovery.  

Take assertive action against illegal collection tactics and telephone harassment.  Do not give them your personal information and fight fraud.

Got a call my husband answered... they were talking about software.  No name. No company.  Delay responding to hello.

Fact 1) Debt collectors have a history of harassing innocent people by calling outdated numbers.
Fact 2) Debt collectors have a history of refusing to accept the fact that they reached the wrong number.
Fact 3) I know these are facts because it has happened to me.
