I called them and they asked my name and I said they should know who they called! The woman said she was sorry , they had already found who they where looking for and hung up. Then they called me back right away again!I have no outstanding debts anyway.Sounds loke a scam to me.

Oxford law just called trying to collect on a debt from 2006 they only have a phone number not an address and have been calling family members do not reply do not call

I just received a phone call from these people today looking for my husband and father in law in regards to a previous car that got repossessed 9 years ago and they are still trying to call and collect money out of no where and i nor my husband or father in law have gotten a single phone call from them since they took it, i just ignored it after i called to find out what they wanted, if they were gonna pay for it, don't u think it would have already been done, hello why collect money if it was repossessed for a reason b.c i couldn't afford it obviously

Oxford Law LLC calls almost daily using different numbers. Always just rings ONCE! I'm tracking the dates/times they call and will refer this over to a real attorney I already have!

This guy who said his name was Brian Knight called my home looking for my sister-in-law who has the same name as me and claimed he had "good news for her". I am sure it was a collection call. I thought it was illegal to lie, but he said he was an attorney so that probably explains it.

They say I owe 3g's for a debt from Providian bank when I never had this bank or a credit card....scam scam scam!!!!!
Check your credit score! and call your lawyer or the free ones that fight for you under that federal credit act.

These a holes called me about a debt that. over 5 years old. I was told they was a law office. And if I did not send then $2200.00 in the next 72 hours. They would have a warrant issued for my arrest, and have my ass put in jail. I told then to [***] off. And hung up on then.

Received a call from "Eric" today, claims he was calling about a reposed vehicle... Confused I continued the conversation, he said he had a debt on his desk, but thought I might have included in my Chapter 7 in 2010.. which I had, but I just let him ramble on and on.  To make a long story short he had my attorneys information and my Chapter 7 information... and I gave him nothing personal about me, just told him to contact my attorney.  Waiting to see if they call back, I have notified my attorney

I get call s from them for a credit card o had13 years ago.thwy even askes e to take money from my mortgage to pay them.I don't remember having the credit cafd.come on 13 years ago

Caller is a debt collector making unlawful telephone contacts contrary to Federal and State regulations.
They are calling to collect out-of-statute debts obtained from old bank identity thefts losses and credit card charge-offs. This collection agency is powerless on stale debts.

Checked this company online and they call people to make threats about old out-of statute of limitations debt, Calling friends, neighbors, employers, relatives about third-party expired and charged-off debts, even calling to make threats on bank consumer identity theft charge-offs.  

They are powerless to collect anything and that firm can be liable for your attorney fees should they sue you about on old and out-of statute debt.  Take aggressive action today.  The government will fine and shut-down unprofessional debt collectors and this one is engaging in unlawful and abusive tactics.

Report them for telecommunications harassment to your local Sheriff or Police Department.  
File a complaint with your state attorney general office and make them pay for their unprofessional and illegal tactics.

Got a call from same tony brewer telling me they got account from ACCE INTL who had the account from advance America. Even gave me account numbers. Finally said loan was from 2009 when I worked at X place. Didn't work at X until 2010 so real suspicious. Told him 2009 would put it outside statute of limitations. He said how you know that, you have credit problem?  I said no I'm just really smart. He hung up and tried calling 3 days later. I Called only ACCE could find in an hour of searching. Said they get those calls daily from people like me that it was scam.

Called advance America who did not have any of the account numbers he gave me, not any record of my name of SSN.

Who can I report these scum bags to?

Telemarketer/collection person Tony Brewer 215-526-2600, made repeated telephone calls despite being asked to stop.  
Reading many posts about Brewer and his company, caller number 215-526-2600 all seem to have a pattern and practice of unlawful telephone harassment.

Reading the many posts shown above; Brewer is calling consumers to bully them into paying for out-of-statute debts and debts from Identity Theft claims - also known as Bank charge-offs.    Tony Brewer is powerless to collect old debts that have gone beyond the statue of limitations.

Do not have conversation; they don't care and want to talk with you in an attempt to re-set the statute of limitations.  Brewer and his company cannot sue you - but you can sue him and his employer if they don't stop calling you, your workplace, your neighbors and your relatives.

If you get a call from 215-526-2600 or Mr. Brewer himself; report the contact to your state attorney general office and local police department.  Join the growing list of consumers taking action against business fraud.  Shut-down rogue debt collection companies and enforce your legal rights.
