They answer this number with "Law Office please hold".  I asked to speak to someone in supervision.
A woman came online identifying herself as Jennifer Stevens.  I explained that this number had previously belonged to someone by the name she/they were trying to contact.  I told her this is no longer their number and that I want it removed from their records.  I had her repeat my number back to me and said she had removed it right then... We'll see; and I will follow up if there's a repeat.

I have also received a call from this company and same phone number 215-526-2600 saying the same thing they are a debt collector.  I figured it was a scam as this has been paid off for over a year.  How do they get this information????  It is scary.
Glad to see other posts about it and I am not the only one they have contacted.

These people called me by name but had someone else information with my telephone number, I told them not to call me anymore.  They were rude and stated they wanted to settle a debt with someone that had my name. I told them they were inappropritae, they then said they would verify their information.

OMG! Me too me too! I'm glad I'm not alone. The lady that called me was beyond rude and said she represented a lawyer's office. She also accused me of lying about my identity. I'm worried though, can they gain any info. about me from this? :/

I have a new fax line for incoming business communications, now this company or who ever it is calling this number constantly, you would think they would get the hint that there is noone answering it. and that nasty squeal would be enough for me to stop calling.

This is a scam.  DO NOT give them any of your personal information.  Here's another link about them.  Apparently, there are several companies under this umbrella, all scammers:  http://www.collectorsexposed.com/forum/index.php/topic/3862-seiler-associates-llc-landis-law-office/

Received a phone call from 215-526-2600 telling my husband that he owed $781 (originally $375. from an overdraft from 1990).  When I asked them to provide me with a Certified Letter with all the documents they had rec'd in their office, the woman told me I was being very demanding.  When I asked to speak to the lawyer who was handling this case, she told me I could speak to the mediator - a Mike Lieberman.  When I told him that I need the lawfirms information, so that my lawyer could contact them, he told me go ahead and let him call and proceeded to hang up on me.  When I called back (3 x) to speak to Lieberman, he would pick up and immediately hang up.  Hmmm ... pretty nerve racking, as they have my husband's ss#.  Please be careful.

I've been getting calls from them, but they don't say anything. Several times a day for about 3 weeks now. Googled their phone # & got this website. The calls are quite annoying, so I'm going to try some of the above suggestions. I particulairly liked the one about mailing them a sandwich, & as luck would have it, I have a colostomy. lol

Got a call at 3:05 pm yesterday from Seiler & Associates about a debt. They actually sent me a letter too and it says they are in Trevose, PA. They claim(in the letter, hell no I didn't answer the phone) that I owe them over $34,000 for a Citibank card account when I haven't had a credit card in at least a decade. I'm not sweating it because I know they can't actually get anything out of me unless I let them.

A sheriff's officer served me papers on a debt once years ago(I'm telling this story for those who've never been in this situation and don't know the right way to handle it). My friend at work used to work in a law office and helped me make up some documents in preparation of the court date, stating that if I owe this debt, they have to provide things like full name of who the debt is owed to, the full account number, the dates in which I had the account, a legitimate copy of my contract WITH my signature for the account, and full documentation on what I owe and why(list as many legitimate requests as possible because I guarantee after a certain number of years, these vultures who buy fractions of info for pennies on the dollar will not have all that info).

Once you've made up the documents, make several copies; ones for you to keep(and date them), ones to be filed at the court house to be added to your case prior to the court date, and ones to be sent to the offices of those trying to collect on the debt. Those that are sent to the collector need to be sent to where you get a notification of those documents having been received and signed for so they can't say they never got them. Try to do this as early as possible so they can't say they didn't have enough time to gather the requested info. Then just wait til the court date since you probably won't hear from them before then. They are just hoping you don't show up so that they win by default. This is very important to know for anyone tempted to now show since they know they "have nothing on me". It doesn't matter if its a real debt or not. If you don't show up, they've got the upper hand and it can lead to garnishments, repos, all kinds of unbelievable practices and because they won, they can.

I know this a bit elaborate for a "phone call received" page but what I saw that day in court was disgusting. So many people went through the same thing as me and just walked up and said "guilty" of the charges, dooming themselves to pay money to a business that is nothing more than a pack of scavengers. I didn't even have to say anything when my name was called. The local lawyer who was there in person to represent this law firm from many states away simply stood up and said they wished to retract any charges(I don't remember exactly what he said) and I was pretty much free to go.

I'm not saying, dodge your debts. If you owe, try to honor it and do what you can to take care of it. In fact, it was my paying of a small debt that probably got the attention of that firm since it would show as a recent activity on my credit report(that's a guess of course but a hell of a coincidence). But I didn't owe what they said I did and even if I did, I wouldn't pay them since they are, in my mind, not a real business but leeches.

    /end rant
