Once a bill is charged off, it's sold to a collection agency.  My banker advised me not to pay them because is would do nothing to help my credit.  We got caught behind after my wife got very ill and ended up being diagnosed with cancer.  Had the creditor worked with me more effectively this debt may not have gotten this far.  We're half way through to it being comepletely off our credit.  If they call me after that, chachinggggggg... instant millionaire.  

I answer them sometimes to check to see what happens, just for fun.  But I never enter any information when they ask.

I have been receiving a phone call from this number for over 2 weeks on my cell phone.  I never pick up the phone, but they left a message, that they are looking for some hispanic guy, who's name I still do not understand, is a debt collection agency.  I hate this F*&(#$ng calls, what can I do to stop this??

This phone-bot keeps blowing up my cellphone.  Peak minutes!  Stupid debt collector will never stop.  I called my cellphone provider (an evil corporation called Verizon) and had the number blocked.  They gave me grief about it, tried to charge me monthly for some BS "blocking service".  I didn't just fall off the turnip truck, folks....  If you are being harrassed and are being charged for those calls, they have a legal obligation to block that number. At least in this state, they do.  Now Verizon and this bill collector can both jump off the cliff together!  o_0

My caller id had this number on it stating Oxford Law LLC had called. From my research and reading about other people rcving calls as well this is what I learned. Oxford Law LLC-belonging to Thomas Landis-atty-Pennsylvania-suspended license and Donald Bural-atty-Pennsylvania-plead guilty to child pornography. These are debt collectors who are very rude & do not abide by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.(wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Debt_Collection_Practices_Act ).Research your collection laws, that way you have a way to fight against these people.

Good to know I am not the only one being harrassed by this company, not sure how they got my number.

Called today asking about an ex sister in law that I haven't had contact with for 20 years.

ALERT,I received a call at 7am wanting to talk to me about one of my relatives.after telling him to go and F... himself and hung up the phone.This [***] had the guts to call back and accusing me of trying to be Americanized!!!so I called back and got The OXFORD law offices,I was given to the same A...hole.and more condescending remark of being Americanized.Indian accent was detected by  me.but I was wrong the call was form USA.deport the [***].

I guess Seiler & Assoc just changes the name of the supposed company a few times a year.

Rule 1 debt collector they are not allowed to swear/say bad words or else you can sue them.

Those addresses dont bring anything up on google maps.  If you look at the parent company their address is in the middle of residential.  This all seems really shady.

My caller ID indicates Oxford Law Llc.  

They called me three times with about three minutes from each call.  Caller block is such nice technology.  I have never bothered to talk to them thanks to all the good info on this site.  It  would certainly be a waste  of my time.

they always calling me and asking for kelly core...and i told them my name is alan, but they never believe me. they call me about 10 times a week.

They just called me. The ID said "Oxford Law LLC". The woman identified herself as Rene Quinn and was looking for me to give a reference for a Tricia Towasaki or something.
I said I knew no such person.  Since this was such a strange call I called the number back and a man with a deep voice answered "Law Office". I hung up.
Felt was a scam and sorry I answered! But is why I'm posting this now.

Getting calls from them all the time, they do not understand, that answering machine can't decide if it is the right person or not they are asking for, they just have numbers and call to see who they can get on their scam, thieves, that's all I have to say. Just ignore because to change the phone number is not gonna help us anyway, they will get that number form somewhere again
