I got in touch with a friend and asked him to find out more about one of the numbers I kept getting calls from and they kept trying to get me to tell them where to find another friend of mine.  They were rude to me and I asked how they got my unlisted number and how they knew that this person was a friend, they just kept changing the subject trying to get me to tell them about my friend. I got into it with the deep voice guy and he told me to shut up and let him talk and I just kept talking over him and he hung up on me.  The name of the Group is Oxford Law, LLC (that does not mean they are a firm) it just means they have a limited liability company that is at 1210 Northbrook Drive, Suite 300, Trevose, PA 19053.  They list (215) 526-2600 as their number and their fax is (215) 526-2618.  Their TOLL FREE NUMBER IS 877-543-6151.  They also admit they are debt collectors.  They mailed a letter to the street I live on and one of my neighbors got it and because I work for attorneys she brought it to my house.  I know they are also tied to another office because I got a call from 218--742-1655 and Oxford also called me from 215-526-6200. I've had around 20 calls in 8 days and I am not the debtor..I told them during the second or third call to not call me again and they said it would take 2 days to get me off their list..and they have never stopped calling..they just change telephone numbers.  My phone and my friends phone are both on the no call list and unlisted!  Whose out their selling lists?They also would not tell me the name of the group. I asked if this was Thomas Landis and he responded I am an assistant.  The bully guy the first or second time I called them back he told me what is your case number, I'm like what are you talking about and he said "Look lady we have two law firms here and I need your name and your file number...I told him my first name and that I did not have a number or file then he asked who the person was and I told him and he transfered me to someone and I told them again, no call list, unlisted number stop calling me! She gave me the 2 day speech just like the recording...and the calls kept coming!  They said in the letter that their client is Pinnacle Credit Services, LLC. Have already filed a claim with the FTC.  I have also contacted the State of Texas Attorney General's office too and they let you file online just like the FTC does.

Got a letter in the mail and many many phone calls.  The creditor listed is a company i never heard of.  When i called the guy told me i owed money to a Cash Jar (internet payday loan company) which i know i do and that i would be calling Cash Jar to work on a payment plan.  he was very rude and told me i wasn't allowed to contact the client directly.  That is BS!  I told him i didn't think it was legit because 1) i read about their number on the internet and all the bad things and 2) if the company i owed money to was Cash Jar then why wasn't that listed on the letter they sent me.  I told him i will contact Cash Jar and work out payments with them.  He started putting me and my job down and told i must not work in a very big law firm if i needed to take out payday loans.  He actually hung up on me!  i'm going to write them a letter telling them to stop contacting me.  I already e-mailed Cash Jar and told them i received the letter from this "Law Firm" and that i didn't believe it was legit so if they wanted to set up payments with me to e-mail me directly.

This is an unscrupulous debt collector.  They've been blowing up my phone (both by a phone-bot and live people), loading up my voicemail, and wasting all my cellphone peak minutes.  Thanks a lot!  The name of the organization keeps changing on the recorded voicemails, which contributes to the shady, suspicious nature of these people.  I will not be returning their calls, and encourage all of you to ignore them also.

Got a call from them after 9 at night - extremely rude and unprofessional.  On instinct I came immediately here and sure enough - scammers.  They wanted to "verify" my information.  I refused and told Ms. Paige to get a more dignified line of work.  She hung up on me. I refuse to be intimidated or harrassed.   I don't think they'll be calling me again.

Call almost every day.  The caller ID lists as Oxford Law not Landis.

Called today and talked to my wife. They wanted me to go across the street to a neighbor who I haven't talked to in years with a claim number and for my neighbor to call them back. This neighbor is mentally unstable, and there is no way I'd go over there. Never had one of these calls before.

They called and left garbled message with a garbled case reference number. I don't owe anyone any back debts.

What these people do is real simple: reverse lookup. If someone that owes money had the same address as you they find your phone number. What I think happens to me is the match the building number BUT NOT the apartment number! So someone in my building does or has owed money I get called about it.

Today they called asking for a Lorianne Martin. "By continuing to listen to this message you agree you are Loriann Martin. You agree this message contains personal and private information." LOL

Oxford Law LLC   They call several times a day, never leave a message even though my outgoing message states they must leave a message or they will never be called back.  They have been calling daily and even sometimes late evenings and saturdays for over 2 years now.  I have blocked the number and they just start calling from a different number.

They told me that they were with Oxford Law offices.
My caller ID comes up on phones as my mother in laws name and I called with my number blocked and they still asked if they were talking to "the person's name"....How is that even possible?!?!?  
I have told them I am not who they are looking for and they continue to harass me and call...
They are rude to me and very unprofessional....I believe them to be scam artist...

Called 3 times in 6 min. Didn't answer - they left no message.

Called from this number and 877-543-6152 several times a month for past few months.  Claims to be a law office.  Have been given 3 different firm names so far.  Once told they were calling from a Bariatric Services center.   Wants me to settle a 2500 debt.  Cannot provide written proof of debt after being asked several times for them to send me the proof.  I asked them to certify a letter to confirm I had received it...said it was too expensive to do it.   My inlaws live on same street...got call right after I did.

James Hendrix called from the Oxford Law Group 877-543-6151 and said I was a relative to someone and wanted me to leave a message.  I told him that the person is in the phone book and he said that he calls and no one answers.  Hendrix gave me his information and I ended up here.  Thank God.

My ex gave them my contact info even though I have never had a credit card through Capital One.   I thought it was hers so I paid them.  A month later she called and said that her account is still past due:  the money went to them, not to her account.  Now I am fighting them.

Be ware:  I wasn't paying attention and when I explained this to them:  they were not surprised.

They are not only legal debt collectors, they are liars and deceivers and if they get your contact info, will claim you owe X amount but will generously settle for Y amount.  

You may find out later that you didn't owe any money and are left fighting to get your money back.

This appears to be a common tactic of theirs.

The caller raised his voice at me and said, "Listen, Buddy!" and would not let me speak.  

They are not a law firm.  

Whatever you do, do NOT give them your bank information.

Same as people above.  They garble the name when asking for who they are calling them back (I never answer calls unknown to me).   The woman puts me thru to a guy who asks for my name.  I said I'm not giving out my name and want to know his company and name and then I get disconnected.

I put the number into my bad_collectors group that goes straight to voicemail on google voice so now
I never have to deal with them and others I get.  I recommend everyone transfer their number to google voice and set up a forwarding group for these types of calls.  Tried doing this on ATT and they charge $10/month and limit me to 5 numbers.  Google voice is free and much better.

The law says you are suppossed to get $1000 violation per incident but it is very hard to catch them.
You basically have to hire a lawyer and take them to court.  Read an article that states the justice dept only bothers with the big debt collectors and ignores the rest.  Getting to be a big problem in the US.

got a call from 215-526-2600 identified as an attorney...and gave me 877-543-5141 as a toll free return number...and some id number, but would not divulge any other info about which this call concerned unless i could prove my identity with personal information, then i could speak to the attorney....oh, please!...so i have put them on my blocked and not accepting calls from these numbers...these scammers make me ill...

Oxford Law LLC is on notice they are not licensed to collect in nevada!

They call everyday 4 times a day and never leave a message... I finally picked up because I'm sick and tired of them calling... it is a debt collector!!! Of course the person who had my # b4 me always gets calls from collectors, courts and even his family and friends.. I've had this # since June and I'm sick of it!!! I told them to remove my #, we'll see if it happens...

Oxford  Law is now showing LMM on caller ID.  Today in AZ.
