Caller states that I'm being investigated in regards to old creditors....scam! The person refused to give me their name and company name. Called from 215-857-1011 x 425657

Received a phone call regarding my deceased father of 5 years stating he was being investigated and he would lose his rights and they were filing in his county.  I called the number back and the woman it was her fault that she didn't know he was dead!!!!!!

How can these idiots be stopped. Im tired of getting these calls/messages etc.

Just got the same call for my deceased husband been gone for 9 yrs saying the same thing people just can’t work or get their money honest anymore

Called before,  called them back, will not give info, very rude, asked me what I was running from????  Calling my parents now too.  Definitely a SCAM, do not send money!!!!

I had same problems they call me and said iam under investigation that I owe 1,248 on a credit one card on 2013 wish I know I didn’t have I ask them to give me there number and info so that I can call and she started giving me a attitude non professional she said you either pay or we will sue you and put it on your credit I kept telling her but I didn’t have one she gave me my last of social security I said it must be someone using it or something she said well that’s not our problem you have to pay I ask her I will pay if I get info she said well let secure your debit card so that we could give you a payment arrangement and take off oof 200 dolllars of your amour so that you pay only 848 dollars but it was so weird to me so o google the number and see that is a scam call to take ppl money when I call back and ask them for there company name the First Lady gave me one the second lady gave me another and there calling from a boost mobile 3rd time I call no answer I left them a message that iam not making no payment arrangement if I don’t get no papers of what is it that they said o owe they have a name of allí another processing division and las one they told me was ARG  and got upset when I ask them about there 3 different names they said what you think we are not real that’s why you keep calling back

Same as the rest, same stuped message, really tired of it, I wish some thing can be done about this people....

Got a call from an Indiana number today, however, the call back number is a PA #, they leave me messages constantly from different numbers, I am not kind to them, I tell them to F$#@ off already.  I just block each number as they continue to call.

My experience is identical to all the other's posts. Legal matters, harrassment of my children, etc. I just block them. This site was particularly helpful in reaffirming that this is & was an attempted SCAM. Hope this helps any readers of this post.

This Number is calling my husband.. Threatening me with pending legal matters.. I do not owe for anything that is not current. I have attempted to call back and it rings and then just plays music.. Scam...There should be someway to stop this fraudulent activity and threats......

These people are idiots. Definitely a scam. I was a victim of a scam years ago and they used these same tactics. And guess what? Company is no longer in service. I never got the paperwork that the debt was paid off. My advise let these people file whatever they want. Better to deal with them legally then to fall into a scam

Just received a message that I am being investigated for “several pending matters.”  The message said I’ll lose my rights if I don’t respond. And supposed to verify information but nothing was verify....and said this message consider you being served...

Woman threatened me. Said they were coming to arrest me on a complaint filed.

Between the two phone numbers 215-857-1011 and 254-863-1200, I have received 33 calls since October. I have called and they have used the following names to identify their business:

When calling them they answer the call saying, "Division of Processing" or "Legal Department." They refuse to provide a street address, refuse to send a notice via US Postal Service with the debt information, refuse to divulge the name of the original creditor, and will not call an attorney's office when requested. When I let them know that failure to send that written notice was in violation of FDCPA, they have told me numerous times that they are not bound by the FDCPA because they are a "private sector" entity. I pointed out that was good as there are only two types: Private Sector and Public Sector, which is the government. FDCPA is Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

FYI the FTC and federal court rulings have exempted debt collectors from the law that covers solicitation calls under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

This is a transcript of the message that is left on voicemail, the only change is the number to call, the case number remains the same:

“This message is intended for <robot voice> First Middle Initial Last. <human voice> I received an order in my office today to complete an order of process for several pending matters you are currently being investigated for. I will be verifying your current address and place of employment today. In the mean time it is your responsibility and legal right to contact your plaintiff prior to being served, and their number is area code 254-863-1200. Again, their number is 254-863-1200. Please make reference to your case number <robot voice> ######. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your right to dispute this matter and a complaint will be filed against you in your local county. <Robot voice> First Middle Initial Last, <human voice>  consider this your official notification." (1:16 in length)

They call me with the same message, various numbers, go ahead, serve me papers, see u in court.

I received a call with the same message around 6 months ago telling me I'm being served with papers.  I'm still waiting.  I told them to bring it on.  I have no idea why I'm being harassed and I don't care.  It's a scam!!  Please do not send money to these horrible people with little class!!!!  They need to get a real job!

Super old debt they say I have. Even if it was mine, it is way past the time frame they could do something about. Just trying to scare me to pay something so they can reopen it. Stay away from these people and don’t give them any money or info.
