They have not only called me numerous times, but have called family members looking for me. They have gotten them worried I’m being sued or will be going to jail. All over a SCAM

I keep getting messages from this number threatening legal action to a guy who hasn't had my phone number for a good 10 years. So, I don't know where they're pulling their call list from, but it is sorely outdated.

    Gotcha
try to get their PO BOX number because you have to have a photo ID to rent a box. I called them back several times and they kept saying they wouldn't give me their name or mailing address. I just kept calling until they said my number was removed. They did have my name right but the more I called and questioned the more they got threatening to me . Lol they said the company name was ARG and kept hanging up when I questioned them. Keep calling them back and when you ask for their name if they refuse to answer hang up and keep calling back.

They have called my phone and my kids phones looking for my husband same messages as above.  So today I exchanged words with the person on the other end she finally said "I am not going to speak to you anymore" like it was going to hurt my feelings. She would not give the company name or her name saying you are not the defendant.

Same thing as all of these other posts.  HSBC Platinum Mastercard that was written off as owing $926 in 2013.  (Never owned a platinum card)  With interest and penalties the card company is filing in court for $6429.80 this week but if I settle today, I only pay $945.21.  Such a deal!  But wait, if you act right now I can accept $592.  Wow, an even better deal!  I told her that I could get a better deal than she was offering.  She said, "No Sir, This is the best offer that we are going to give."  I said, "If I don't pay you anything and hang up on your scamming ass, I get the best deal."  Click.......
Five minutes late another call from a different number, and it is her supervisor and the voicemail message is, if I don't accept their deal today, they will be contacting my employer (which is me) and filing paperwork in my local courts.  The unfortunate part of this is that there are hundreds, if not thousands of people who fall for this kind of scam, especially the elderly.  I'm reporting this number to the authorities.

    SCAM!!!!
This number repeatedly called my husband , so I decided to call back. And of course he has a debt with HSBC and they are giving him a courtesy call that this company will be taking legal action. I requested documentation and they refused. Told the lady on the phone to stop scamming people and to remove our numbers. She laughed and said not until we resolve this matter. So I kept calling them back and telling them to stop scamming, got responses from a few different people that I need professional help! Well hopefully we wont be getting any calls from them for a while! At least.....

This company is running scams on people in NC and SC. They claim you owe a debt and then after you disagree they begin calling your relatives and employer(s) and say you will be arrested soon for non payment of a debt.

The last known registered owner and president of the company is Michael Salter and Veronica Salter. They have registered in Texas as a FOREIGN limited liability company. No doubt to avoid arrest and law suits themselves.

They claim to be out of business as the below link will show you but they still operate today. HOW do you respond? How I did is below.

    1) Be sure to tell them your conversation IS being recorded for future reference.
    2) Ask them for their registration number / info as a licensed debt collector in your state. ( Usually Dept of Insurance handles those.)
    3) Ask them are they complying with federal and state laws FDRCA and FCRA acts in particular.
    4) DO NOT accept that you will be arrested when/if they threaten you with that. That is a crime there are no debtors prisons in the USA.

I just received a call with a recording saying I'm being investigated and also said that I am officially being served and if i don't respond that my rights will be taken away. Recording gave me a case #, so I called back and a women answered saying that I will be sued by HSBC bank from a $1,045 debt I owed back in 2005. She then said that they would settle with me. I laughed at her and told her to tell HSBC to kiss my ass. She then got nasty and said "they are going to garnish your wages". I said good luck, I'd like to see them try. At first I thought it was just an attempt from a debt buyer to get some money out of me, but then I realized that I cannot legally be served over the phone and that the stature of limitations on Credit Cards is 6 years in New York State. She would not tell me any details of the matter and she seemed very unprofessional. These people got some balls trying to scam people. So I googled the number and found this website with people getting the same type of call. My brother is an FBI agent, so I gave him all the info that was posted on this website and he said that they have received over 500 calls from all over the country regarding this same call. He said that extortion charges will eventually be charged to this group  who is doing this, along with a bunch of other charges for the countless laws they are breaking! I can't wait for them to get caught!
