Got three messages on my phone asking to call back to protect my rigths in a pending legal matter investigation and if I did not I was going to be pursued in my county....did not identify who they were or who the plaintif was . I did not return calls as it smelled phishy !

I like to know how they got the last 4 digits of our s.s number

They called my mothers number looking for my name ( which was computerized). They said I’m being sued by a company, they will verify my address, employment ,etc.
1. I haven’t worked in 4 years ( disabled)
2. Wouldn’t they already have my resident and employer?
I’ve never been sued or have a judgment against me.
They need to get a real job.

They are calling leaving threatening messages for legal matter and at our employer

Keep calling re someone whose name matches that of our son who died over 3 years ago after a 2-year long battle w/brain cancer.  Caller leaves no name, threatens legal action.

They have calling everyday several times a time harrassing us and are now contacting our children. They are claiming to be a Resolution Group calling on behalf of a client (supposedly Capital One). We contacted Capital One and Capital One has no info in their system regarding us or us ever having an acct w/ them. When we've told them they're a scam and hung up, they immediately called back from another phone # and argued w/ us about their validity. My husband wants to change our phone # because it's getting to be too much.

horrifying as I rec'd call while at the hospital for extremely important matter. I was not able to pick up .. thank god. I researched the number when got home and found this website and OTHERS .. that have upload the EXACT language that these horrible people use ... to make people afraid.   Thank you so much for this service to warn others.

They stated they are Alternative Resolution Solutions.. they said I owed HSBC MasterCard which I called them and they said I don't have an account with them. I even called capital one and same thing.

Got the following message.  Last time I actually talked to them and they say I owe on an old credit card account.  I recently checked my credit and nothing comes up so they are full of it.  Told him that and refused to give my info and he got pissed.

I will be verifying your current address and place of employment today. In the meantime it is your responsibility and your legal right to contact the plaintiff prior to being served. Their number is area code 215-857-1011 and please make reference to case number ****** sawyer to comply will result in forfeiture of your rights to dispute this matter and a complaint will be filed against you in your local County. ****** consider this your official notification.

Trying to tell me I have a warrant for something or another. Used an old roommate's name that was never associated with this number. Get a life and stop interfering with mine!

Called for a legal scam. Was trying to say a dead relative had warrents out for arrest and left a message trying to use scare tactics to pay money.

This person called and doesn't know me they state they are debt collector. I don't know what they are talking about. They wanted all my info so they can make case against me. I will tell them what my attorney told them go ahead. How do we get them to stop.

These idiots are calling themselves ARG.  They keep calling me saying that I have some kind of debt, but, are using an old roommate's name. This person has never been associated with my number, nor does he know it.  I would call this COMPLETE BS!

They called and had my name and social, she said I owed 800 dls for an hsbc credit card which was false, she wanted my address and employment info, I told her to move forward with the threat of suing me, I called andput a freeze on my social. Its scary that these people can retrieve your information so easy.

The most recent time the called I called the number and someone said it was ARG. This is not the only number I get the same call from however.

EXACTLY the same as you Joni, and when I pointed out the "supervisors" reports of the way this would work thru the legal system were incorrect (I am identity theft victim and have been thru this numerous times) he became very offended and almost yelling told me he didnt know why I was upset with him and it was my credit score that it would effect.  Side note: the time frame he quoted was impossible and not legal time notice in any state

I got this call looking for my ex husband they said they removed my number wish I hadn’t answered can I expect any trouble being as I answered call?

Called and left threatening message about several purchases I had made and they were investigating me if I didn't return the call a Warrant would be issued for my arrest.
