Yeah, there was a guy who just called me today (Thanksgiving)
He was very rude and made sexual remarks to my daughter who answered the phone, Then this dumb ass hung up.

Add 267-519-4571 to the list of local Philly area numbers used by NCO Financial to call from India.

Got call, left no message.

Called, didn't speak when I answered. I hung up.

9:53 am pacific time.  No message

Called at 12:00pm, didn't answer, left no message.

called once, no message, called again, I picked up but could barley hear an man, I hung up. He called back, I could barley here him so I turned up the radio and put it on speaker phone then I could hear him calling, can you here me now? he asked for some person, I replied nobody by that name. He recited a message "this call maybe monitored, bla bla bla." then hun up. CALLLED BACK! asked for same person, same reply. He said "I will take this number off my list, bla bla bla." sort of pathetic.

Received two back to back calls at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, 1/11/09.  Did not answer.  Left no message.  When I tried to call back to find out who this was, I got "all circuits are busy now; please try again later."  Yeah, right.  Also got a call from this number at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.  Unbelievable.

Some guy called and left a message saying they were from my bank.  He gave my bank name and a reference number.  I called the bank and they said they never called me. Something is up with this number.  Most likely illegal.

Hang up at 8:04 PM on January 14, 2009.  "No name" on caller ID.

Answered phone and did not recognise name of person caller asked to speak to. Caller quickly rattled off a variation of "this call is being (not "may be") monitored" rhetoric and hung up. I realized the caller had mispronounced my name before she hung up. I *69d the call to get the caller's number. Received an automated message that no such number existed when I attempted to call it.

Called home and work number......was not able to call back to the number shown on caller id......very fast garbled message saying loan was ready....
have not been able to get through to 267-519-4400

Received this call today on my cell phone caller ID. I was away from my phone at the time of the call. The call was made at 2:23 pm. I google searched to try a reverse phone look-up and came up with this. It is a landline in Philly... Don't know what the call was for and no one left a message. I called the number back and it said "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again. 074T." Hopefully someone will know who or what company this is...

how do I find out what this is about????
if it is a positive call then why do they not answer when I return call?
I do not believe it is a legal business call. What to do to stop iy???

Got call from this number. they left a messeage which is not understandable....at all. tried to call back what i can guess is number no answer.

NCO Financial for American Express.  Most of the people can't speak English.  They sound like they're from India.  Not easy to collect money when you can't speak English.

This is NCO Financial calling for American Express they have been hijacking phone numbers in an effort to escape the FDCPA guidelines.  If it doesn't show up as NCO dont answer it because there will be no way for you to track the calls.  Make the send a letter to you.  This is also required by law and the FDCPA you can also request for them to stop calling you until the notice is received.  Do not confirm anything on the phone ask them to send the letter to the address on file and hang up.  Dont do to much talking.  They want you to talk.
