Answered the phone, and a gal with a heavy accent ask if I was whom she named.  When I answered "Yes." she identified her company as NCO and advised that she was collecting a debt for Capitol One.  I advised that I had no outstanding debt to Cap One but to send proof of the debt for my response.  When she asked for my address, I let her know that my phone number is on the No Call List, and that her lack of info confirmed that the debt she is trying to collect is not mine. She continued asking for personal info until I told her I would have my attorney contact her company to stop the calls.  She then promised to remove my number from her files, but asked again for personal info.  What a moronic attempt to collect from anyone.  Guess it's halloween, and the blood-suckers are out.

This is a cool site. Just got a call from the 267-519-4400 number on my cell phone today. Could not find out who has this number, but this little board answered my question. I have been harrassed by a collection agency for years that is looking for some woman that I never heard of. I bet this is them again trying to find her and they won't leave me alone. Thanks for the info on the posts. I tried to call the number back and I got the all circuits are busy message.

Its Definitely NCO - Debt Collectors.

First let me say NCO Debt collectors have no sense..I use to talk to them and explain me situation( lost me job)..That was good in the first 2 months of being unemployed.. Now I tell them I have no income they say okay but then call back 20 minutes later..Like something has changed.. Now I just got a call at almost 10pm.. I told the guy on the phone that I knew the rights and that they had no reason to call after 9pm.. The guy actually got cocky with me,,I recording all times and keeping them in my phone  . They call over 12 times a day everyday..THank god for caller ID..I talk to them once a week...( only time I answer the phone)tell them nothing has changed and I hang up,,

Called twice in a minute and left no message.

I tried to call block this number yesterday and it wouldn't go through.  I'm supposed to be able to dial *60 then dial #01# and the last number that called is added to the list.  I should have 4 more numbers available to block.

This is a call from NCO Financial.  They are trying to collect a debt of someone who used my number as a reference.  Told them to take me off their list and if they called again I would report them.

Called me at least 10 times in the last 2 days, left blank voicemails.

NCO financial debt collectors trying to fool you into answering the phone.  I have no job in over two 1/2 years so go fry ice!

NCO from India....  I must call them back on an urgent matter.  Yeah right thats going to happen.  Take these calls and call them back and they will you forever.  Just ignore and they eventually will go away.

They call me to tell me that my voice being recorded and then they hang up, get a life.

This is one harrassing co NCO they call at all times of the day and night they have some nerve calling at 7 am on sunday morning and as late as 11 pm at night every single day

Called five times straight, just after 8am.  I was busy, and muted the ringer.  Immediately, called right back, again I muted.  Again, called back immediately; five times in row total.  Left no message.    If it warrants calling five times back-to-back in less than 2 minutes, would it not warrant leaving a message?

Received three cals on cell phone from number.  No mesg, could not call back.  If it is NCO, which is NOT owned by JPMorgan as some dunce earlier suggested, they are violating federal law.  Class action case down the road my friends.  Caller needs express consent to call a cellphone.

I received a phone call on Friday, 7 January 2011, from an individual with a heavy accent asking if I was who I was and asked if the last 4 digits of my SSN were my SSN.  I said yes, and he proceeded to tell me he was a debt collector for Northland Group in regard to a Premier Bank account.  I am trying to correct things on my credit report so I listened.  He said the compnay was offering a one time settlement on the account.  I agreed that I would like to participate, but it was the three questions he asked that showed some shady business going on.  These are the three things he asked for that I did not reply:  Estimated take home pay, my marital status, and how much I paid for mortgage/rent.  I informed this individual that I had dealt with debt collectors in the past, and they never asked me any questions like that.  And I hung up the phone.  Then, the stupid person decides to call me back from this phone number:  (650) 230-1967.  He was actually begging for me to continue with trying to obtain a settlement.  I hung up again.  I do regret giving him my cell phone number.  The following day, the phone number (267) 519-4400 called and it was the stupid ass man again.  I hung up again.  They call like every other day from the (650) 230-1967 ohone number, but I am at work.  Thank goodness I did not provide my work number.  Besides, I have dealt with the real Northland Group in the past and they are very legit and professional.

Received 3 calls in a roll. NCO changed the information on the caller IDS too to Unknown and DENSA.

This is Not only NCO Financial, they also call from Mc guigan Law Office LLC, they are a collection agency as well. I have recieved numerous calls both from 1-267-519-1119 and 1-877-543-6152!! Make them stop!!
