This company keeps calling over and over again wanting to lower our credit card or something. It is a scam and it needs to be reported to the telephone company. They need to be stopped.

This is ridic and when i see all of the notes/complaints above it makes me more pissed! I got the call twice in a row, back to back-no answer when I said "hello".  I called back and the # is "not in service". Clearly a telemarketer.

The call from 281-982-2498 was some kind of credit card spam about cancelling an account. I only listened for less than a minute.

I was contacted by this number where an automated voice told me that I had not responded to a number of correspondances. It then told me to hold for a representative. While I have a general problem with solicitation calls, THIS one I think is particularly egregious because it uses a fear tactic (says you haven't responded, it's your last chance, etc. making you think it's a collection call) to encourage a response.

got several calls from this # regarding my account. did not answer but it is very annoying if travelling and in a different time zone to be awakened by these nuisance calls. I am on the DNC registry... which personally i think is useless. I still get telemarketing calls and txt msgs. Att's solution is for me to change my number. I think it's a scam.. Att get's to charge me for the calls and txt msgs but they cannot protect my information or find a way to block these unwanted calls. I have added number block, reported each time I recieve a nuisance call or txt and called several times immediately after. If the Police can do a trace using the phone companies to find individuals - i don't think it is impossible from them to resolve these problems. Somewhere out there a phone company is getting paid by these scam artists for phone service - so I don't believe the BS about them not being able to do something about it!!

btw, I don't answer any calls from #s I don't know and every month i send a list of txt msgs that were telemarketers to Att to credit my accoutn!!

You're right. As long as the govt doesn't get bothered by these ********s, since THEY are on the do not harass lists, the govt won't do anything to stop them from making these illegal calls to tax paying citizens.
The only think that will stop them is when a person and/or people that want to make the world a better place exterminate them.  What a feel good news story...Telemarketing office abandoned and all employees dissappear..what a good day that will be:-)

I have started taking my frustration out on them. When they call, talk to them and tell them all the different ways people can die, how long specific methods can take, and how painful it can be.
While it does no good at stopping the calls, it makes gives me happy thoughts imagining them slowig fading away

Just received a call on my cell from this number and since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Big surprise there.

Sleazy credit card company trying to do debt consolidation loans.. they are not affiliated with ANYONE I do business with... they are phishing.. total losers.

Called me 8/29/11.  Did not answer so looked here, one said  it belonged to Card Member Services.  I do not have a credit card, only debits.  so be VERY CAREFUL of these people.  Perhaps even trying to figure out which kind of card you use,  ie.  VISA, etc.

Just called - unknown number so did not answer. No message left. Getting tired of my cell receiving unwanted calls - reason I dropped my land line.

Received call from 281-982-2498 on my cell phone on 8/29/11 from "Card Member Services."  After a 30 sec recorded message it let me press 1 to talk to a person who asked if I wanted to lower my rates.  I said maybe, and they transferred me to another person.  When I asked what company they were affiliated with they said they work on both MasterCard and Visa accounts.  When I asked which of *my* accounts they were affiliated with, they hung up on me.  I believe this is a phishing scam trying to get credit card info from gullible people.  I am on the federal do-not-call list and have filed a complaint.

This is company saying they can lower your credit card to 6 %. I don't know how they're getting my number because i have it on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Just got a call from this number on my cell and did not pick up.  no message.
