so i lied and said no then they hung up on me lol obvious scam and you call it back and its NIU

Robo voice started a spiel about winning a gift, so I hung up...

Got a call from 289-695-9898, at home, cell, and work #, wondering how they got my work # !!!!!!!!!!

Got a call  today, was asked the over 28yr old question + plus valid credit card (Visa, mastercart, AMEX) then was asked to hold. Googled their number in the mean time and saw this site... Thankfully! I hung up.

Got a call 5 minutes ago. Didn't really inderstand what the voice said, but i had a very similar callback from me cell provider (i had asked for a callback), so i assumed it was them. Pressed 1, phone rang a couple times, then nothing. Tried calling back, number not in service. Found this website...and realized they made me waste my time! Surprisingly, i've been getting calls at home from a recorded voice saying they are looking for the previous owner...Something's cooking, and yes i'm pretty sure they have some sort of list with names and numbers. F*cking scammers...

Collect call, the guy says "help me it's larry" ...    didn't do anything and it hung up after a few seconds....

Got the call on my cell. I asked if they spoke Fench (if you call in Quebec, you should be able to have a francophone speaker available, plus it's a good way to irritate telemarketers...). The woman answered "No français" and hung up. I guessed they were paid on quick sales.

Then I googled the number and found this thread. I almost hope the call again to try to tell them what I think about their scam...

do not press 1 as soon as you press one this mean you accept and then they you will be charged long distance calls PLEASE DO NOT PRESS ONE IT'S A SCAM.

Sounded like a collect call.  # not active when I called back.  My phone provider said it was a scam.  Guess they were right.

Called while I was at work on my cell, didn't answer, reported to CRTC as my # is on the DNCL

They called saying i was a preferred customer from bell canada and i would get a gift thrn i had to prrss 1... I did but it hung up right away... Will i get charged for this...hope not!!!!

Got the call this pm...can someone get a paypal account setup so we can all pay a sniper to scare the hellp off these guys...so they stop?

Business cell phone, missed call with no message. Supposedly land line out of Thornhill, Ont.

THIS CALL IS not from air canada just becuase they say it is.

Just got this call on my cell phone, hung up before I could answer it. Left no message. I give this phone # to no one except 2 family members, so I don't know who they are or how they got my #. Glad I didn't talk to them.

Claimed to be from Bell and that I won a special gift for being a valued customer. "Press 1 to claim your prize." Instead I hung up.
