This is a typical scam house, promise a gift, and ask for your credit card to pay for taxes and/or shipping.

Tell them to get lost.

Now they are saying they are from Bell.  Beware and do not press one...

I just got a call from them waking me up at 10:46pm....  What the F???   I didn't answer it on time so I got out of bed went downstairs thinking it was a business emergencies because it is my business cell phone and did a call back and what? not in service?  what nerve   and I agree with some of the postings...  Throw them in jail as I am on a do not call list!  It is a business cell phone!

289-695-9898 called my cell as well Dec 8th 2010 AT 10:54pm ... WTH - I missed the call & found several pages of google results over specifically the last few days with people reporting this number a scam call when I attempted to reverse search the number

8 mins after you I received a call, and there have been 4 reports on this board alone in the last hour

I got a call on my cell at 3:40 pm. I didn't take it until I checked the number, but it cut off
as soon as I answered it. No any message has been left.

Called me and when I answered it just beeped and hung up on me

Yep. I got one. Going to report it to National Do Not Call Registry. Suggest you do too. If enough of us complain, someone will have to do something for us.

CID showed THORNHILL ONT he said he was calling on behalf of FHA and wanted to speak with our Sales Development Manager and our Sales Mgr, dumped him into v- mail both times.

a slightly different MO; caller said they were a magazine and wanted to interview someone in our marketing dept.
