Gave Air Canada my cell phone#...now they keep harassing me on my cell, I just don't answer it anymore..'m afraid I might incur LD charges.....I'm in BC

Put them in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will stop the interruptions.

the owner if that number is..........sorry has, no education, his private parts are stuck in his backside (poor boy!) and he gets little children to bath him....[***]!

how about a class action law suit against the telephone company? I get charged for incomming calls, so that includes these yo-yo's! and another thing with telephone company's, they charge you for call display, and yet (in Ontario Canada) you can block your number by dialing 67 BEFORE dialing the number you want, can't put a handle on that metholology sure is illegal though!

Probably another scam

I have received a call from the same number. he talked about prize quicky then he hanged the line.

I received a phone call from that number... I answered "Hello...Hello"?   After a few seconds the robot voice from the cell phone service provider stated "We're connnecting your call now... long distance charges will apply"   I hung up.   I seldom give out my cell ph.# , so I would assume that they are calling everybody with the same telephone exchange number.

Received a phone call to my cell from this number and it say "This call is for a special promotion from Bell Canada, press 1 to continue"  I hung up..  Then put this number to my auto-reject list in my phone.

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone. No message andwhen I called back the number I got the recording that the number is not in service. Thanks to all of you I know now it is a scam and will not answer the call again.

Scammers are not enough punished .

Based on all the posts here, this # is assigned to a scam organization. I have access to a paysite where you can thoroughly look up phone #'s and this one is kept as being brand new or unused. Avoid this call.

Got a call for the same phone number at 14h38, I didn't answer because I was working. No message received.

Called my cell-phone at 15:33 PST, saying that as a "preferred Air Canada customer", I have won 50 thousand points, and to "press 1".  I did. Eventually, a live person came on the line, and asked me my age.  When I asked how to claim the 50 thousand points, he hung-up on me.

I haved used <star><six><zero> on my Shaw Telephone service to block further calls from this number.

called me around 9 20 pm voice recording offering preferred bell customers a prize... I am a bell mobile phone owner.... not sure how they had my number... pressed 1 to proceed... asked if he was a bell representative and they hung up right away. SO definite scam, there are lots of these around... so yeah if it happens to you... dont be stupid enough to give out your information
