EVA KNIGHT again!

I received exactly the same emails as everybody else while i was selling my TV on craigslist.  My TV is selling for $100 and she "sent" me $2250 (including $50 for the running around like she said to everyone else).

I received her check yesterday and she requires me to go to moneygram to send money to movers today.  I was kind enough to believe she is deaf and that's why she is requesting all these extra effort from me.  I went to Moneygram and they actually sensed this is a scam and declined the transaction.  I came back and was ready to send the extra money back to her.  Thank God I googled before I do so!

When is the police going to stop this scumback?

i went to police they said they couldn't do anything about it.  I finally got my account fixed.  Didn't give them any info except address to send the check...is there something else i need to be concerned about?  (Besides the fact that this was a costly lesson for me)

Just got the exact same e-mail from a furniture listing on craigslist.  Thank goodness for these posts.  My e-mail was from Janet Cole.  Who or where do we report this?  THANKS EVERYONE!

Just spent all of two minutes filing a complaint with the FTC.  Took me longer to read the blog.  Perhaps if everyone goes to the sight and starts entering Alan Fischer or Eva Knight and there are enough hits someone will notice.  My e-mail came from Janet Cole.  If I had read this I would have entered Eva Knight in the system.

Craigslists SCAM- Perhaps the power of Facebook can get the [***]. Posted a chair to sell and got a response back within hours. "Janet Cole" said she would send check and arrange pick-up. I googled "her" and found out that e-mails sent from @wikizplc.com are being used as a money laundering scam..costing people thousands. Common names Eva Knight and Alan Fischer. Biggest problem in San Diego...spread the word

what can i do besides going to the link that u sent me?  I intend on doing that but it appears that this has been going on for quite sometime!   Is there something else that can be done?  I mean people can lose everything they have over this...just being trustful!

ok....all emails were the same as the ones that were posted.  The name of the people that we sent the movers fee to was: Taeghin Yerkey  724 Rosa Street Farmington NM  The check that was sent to us was from M.Ali & sons, INC....does any of this mean anything to anyone?

I just got THE EXACT SAME EMAIL! Except this one was from a janetisscole@wikizplc.com (Janet Cole). I thought it was weird because they didnt include a name or phone number. They said they were deaf but they wanted MY phone number (?), but didnt include their own, which I thought seemed suspicious... Mine was also in reply to an ad on Craigslist. I wonder what the point of this really is???

Eva, Im so glad you are interested in the purchase.  I will glady accept your check, via UPS next day delivery, but first I will need your full name, address, cell and land line phone number, your bank name and location, account number and finally your social security number, so when I receive your check from UPS I'll know exactly what to tell the police.  Thank you!
