I just received the same info with the same email.  I gave her my info and the sad thing about it I gave her my Video Relay number which is for the deaf.  My son is deaf and I am very disappointed to hear this.  It is a sick world.  I plan to report this.  Any advice to where to report this?

I had a furniture ad posted as well.

I received the exact same message from Eva Knight...the whole thing seemed fishy to me. I responded and told her I was unable to accommodate her request. Not surprised I didn't get a response, how sad she/he said they have a disability to get people to fall for their scam

I just got this same message from janet cole for some furniture i put up online. thank goodness i googled it.

Instead of an "Eva Knight" I was contacted by a "Janet Cole" with the EXACT email msg. It seemed odd because of the msg and the different reply to email address. Thank goodness for sites like these! Anyways, be on the look out for "janetiscole@wikizplc.com" or "xds43@operamail.com"

Me too! I got this exact email. It sounded fishy. I was about to email back and tell her to text my phone so I could see that it was a real person. I'm glad I googled the email address.

I just got the exact same email from Eva Knight. I wonder what she does with the information?

Any of this stuff is a scam.

No legit buyer would buy furniture without seeing it UNLESS it was priced so low below value that it was a no-brainer; but then, any normal buyer would not trust the seller -- why would they sell something supposedly so valuable in such good shape for so little.

Never never never never be so stupid as to believe when all the odds are against something being real that it is real.

These scams are all over the place not only Craigslist and not only in email though with emails they can try thousands trolling for an fool.

Wow, this is identical to the message I received from a Janet Cole. She emailed me with two different email addresses.

I also got an two emails from a Derick Hanes using these two email addresses derickhanes21@operamail.com and derickhanes0@gmail.com. He sent me the following message in response to a Craigslist ad for a couch.

 We appreciate your response to my inquiry. We are interested in buying it from you, we would have loved to come by and check it out ourselves but we just got married and we are presently on a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. Please withdraw the advert from web so that we can be rest assured that the item is held for us. We don't mind adding $50 for you to do that, we should believe it is in good condition as stated. we will be making payment via certified check or money orders which my secretary will mail across to you .we will also take care of the shipping as our mover's will be coming for the pick up once the Certified Check has been cashed. I will need  your full name and physical address which will be for the payment and also enhance payment delivery. Hope to read from you soon again.

I received two emails today from two separate people with this same or very similar email.

I gave my name and address to one before I received the other and realized it was a scam. Is there any danger in this? Or do I just not cash the check if it's sent to me?

Same Eva Knight email this morning.  Thanks for the help.  They are preying on the fact that he/she is deaf and that no one wants to say no.

We too had furniture on craigslist and got e-mail from " eva knight " I was wary first thing , when it said she was aware of condition  ( in great condition ) when I google her , of coarse this and 2 other pages popped up I e-mailed her saying I needed cash and have not heard from her  thanks

I too received a reply from Eva Knight to purchase furniture I listed on Craigslist.I was leery because she was too anxious to purchase something she has never seen.  Thanks for posting this about her.

I just got scammed by this lady too.  Janet Cole.  I just reported it to the FTC.  Is there anything else I should do?  I feel so stupid.  I even tried to google her and I couldn't find this before.  Is there anything else we can do?  She had me send the money to a Florida contact.  How can we stop this person?
