Thanks for the response... I'm okay with the condition and price of the item and ready for its purchase. My form of payment will be by sending you Bank Certified Check via Fedex next day air delivery and this is because i am currently away on a business assignment.

I would be responsible for the pick-up and the movers fee would be included in your payment in order to avoid delay and to enable the pick up company to schedule an appropriate time for the pick-up at your location after check has cleared as I have other properties to be moved alongside this item.

And secondly , Kindly delete the posting as am definitely buying it from you and it would be sad for me to have the payment in the mail only to be informed of the its sale.I will also wait for the check to clear before i have my mover come for pick up.

Would have love to come over for viewing but I'm afraid that might not be possible due to me being away on a business assignment. If you have more pics please send them to me so I can get a better look.

I just recieved an email from this person as well saying they wanted my info to send me a check. Not buying it. Telling me to remove my ad bs..not removing it.

I received two emails from those 2 differ email addresses

I got the same email from "Katie Minton" today. It sure must be hard to get furniture when you are a deaf traveling business person!

I just received the same in response to a Craigs listing.  What a nut job!

I got the same email from Janet Williams.  Reporting her to Craigslist too.  Thank you all for the info!

I got the same message about a boat and trailer we have for sale on Craigslist.  I was concerned when I saw the phone number and it was not local.  I googled it and saw the blog, text the person and told them it was sold and I don't sell to SCAMMERS!!  I freaking hate that people are so dishonest.  I did notice that the email said it was from Jeff Belmat but the reply to was morgan_lizzy@yahoo.com but then looking closer it says the TO: officeofthelegalclaims@gmail.com.  
Beware of Jeff Belmat, morgan_lizzie and officeofthelegalclaims all scammers.

I just got the same email as others only mine came from a Kim Williams [kimiwilliams@wikizplc.com]; as a reply to an item I posted on Craig's list.  Very same message word for word' i.e.," I'm okay with the condition and price of the item and ready for its purchase. My form of payment will be by sending you Check via FEDEX next day air delivery." yada, yada, yada.  The initial email came from Kim Williams [nkkwaye3@inbox.lv].  I get this junk for everything I have ever posted on craigs list.  Sometimes the address is different, but I'd love to stop this.  This is the first time I've looked at this site.  Does anyone know how to find this person?

Thank you so much for posting this.  I was just ontacted by this person tonight.  Thought it was fishy that he wanted to buy the furniture without seeing it.  He also mentioned being on a secret mission and did not have access to his bank account and would have someone pick it up.  What a loser!

I got the same message from these people. The only difference is I had a van for sale and they wanted to know if the furniture was still up for sale. Must be doing this so much they can not remember which ad they are answering

Got the following email from this person...did not leave her name or anything. I had listed the bike the night before so something wasnt right. Email was from jjmont56@aol.com. Speech disabled my ass...these CL scammers are getting smart.

I received the same email from Kim Williams.  Believing that the person is actually deaf, I sent my address and received a check for 6 times the amount I had asked.  I then realized it was a scam and wrote back with this response, and copies this website link.

I got a message from Kim Williams too after I posted an ad for some chairs on Craigslist. First she just asked if the item was still for sale, and when I told her it was, I got this message next:

So let me ask, how in the world do they scam you? I mean they're literally offering to send money via FedEx, let's just say they did really send the money, then what??? You're sitting there with a check for more than what you were asking initially, and then what? I don't get it, all I know is that they are trying to do something shady, I just don't understand all the steps in their process.
