- BeSmartI believe unsolicited calls of this nature all begin from the moment you enter your personal details that INCLUDE your 'phone number' and 'home address' for any registration process where it is mandatory to provide.(because some sites like all the personal information they can squeeze out of you in order to *cough*......... "serve you better".....) Some of these sites may have some 'questionable' privacy policies.
You trust the site, you enjoy using their free services, or perhaps you're joining an online contest of some sort, so like a good samaritan you fill it all out, you put a checkmark on the disclaimer box that says "you fully read and understand their privacy policy" etc. (which you more than likely only glanced through or skipped it altogether, so are therefore unaware that some or all of your personal information may be used and made available "only" to trusted partner sites and their affiliates, etc, etc. "only to serve you better and provide you other special exciting offers and free services you might be interested in, etc etc."
BAM, That's when they get you. The flood gates open and youve just opened your most inner sanctum to the world of telemarketers and the random spam calls begin. I guess the bottom line and moral to the story is, always be very wary of what kind of personal information you enter on any website, especially when it comes to your home PHONE and home ADDRESS or even zip code/postal. Also this isn't limited to the internet, any contests, promotions that ask for your phone number don't just want it to notify youve won.
In this day and age, consumer information is like gold to these entities. You always have to ask yourself, why do they want this particular personal information, and what do they plan on doing with it, then just go from there ; ) - cessnaGot a call today from this number....I do not, and will not answer calls from a number that I do not know. I would like them to REMOVE me from their call list.

What is their phone number? Not the one they display on caller ID, but the one to the office. - MDCaller ID indicated "PRODUCT DEV". Annoyed, ignored it anyway
- MANN BRACKENI picked up the phone and heard weird noises, from the wilderness, much like a lions, cats, jaguars, zebras. I said "hello." In return the swirl, the cacophonious symphony of jungle cats continued.

- john from 661When you get unwelcome calls turn around and call your US Representative
about the calls and talk the staffer ear off. If you become a PIA your
Representative will think twice about sleeping with the Tel-Cos
and Telemarketers

- cindykeeps calling and doesn't leave message
- JerryNO ONE SAID ANYTHING NO MESSAGE LEFT
- Peeved in SeattleI have also been receiving repeated calls from this number. Answer, nobody there. Not only do their calls irritate me, but the fact is they have delivered several copies of the same phone book for DEX, one set by the front door, one set on the back door. A tip: Phone book pages make a great firestarter for your fireplace or barbecue.
You can find corporate addresses elsewhere in these comments. Good idea to go through the past posts. Do not email the donotcall email address. That can open you up to spam later on. They are scumbags.- Caller: Product Dev
- WhocaresI get these calls too, I believe the suspect is Edokpayi. There is a gang of people by this name who are working in banks, telecommunication and so goes this organized group.
