They apparently are getting it from job board sites like career builder, etc from what Im seeing. Could be wrong but it seems to line up with what I experienced.

I had a call from that 516 800 0000 number every hour for 2 weeks.  I final answered it and it was the same guy,  I knew what they were up to b/c of all of you !!  I told them never to call my number again .  Well, now they are calling from this 309 474 0863 #.  The caller ID has a different number below the 309 area code.  It is 202 204 0484.  They are sure trying hard  ! I don't understand why the DNC list is not blocking these calls.

This is an Indian guy, he wanted to talk about my computer. I asked him if he needs to see a doctor, he asked why? I told him "you are sick", he asked again why you think i am sick? then i said "you are in sane" then he hung up.

User is using foul language and is oriental....very obscene.

I agree with Larry that this is a scam. I got a call yesterday that I didn't answer from 309-474-0863, I answered today's call and the man on the line was extremely hard to understand, but it seems he wanted me to load some software that would give him control of my computer. He kept asking "Do you understand what I am saying?". I finally got tired of messing with him and told him to put me on his do not call list, and asked him if he understood what I was saying? He was rude, sounded like a crook, and I wouldn't deal with him even if he was legitimate, which I'm sure he isn't. Just make sure you tell him you are not interested and to put you on the do not call list.

Your computer has a virus - type scam. Put him on hold for a moment (to let my wife come listen) but he hung up. Next time, we will play with him.

Same thing, He says he is calling from technical support.  BS!  I told him not to call back but this is about the fifth time he's called.

keep getting the calls. complete scam. I tell them I don't have a computer and I know this is a scam every time. so sick of it. it happens every couple of months and the numbers changes this time it was from Varna,Il when will they learn that Microsoft wouldn't know you had a virus on your computer unless you called them.

answered a call from this number. Someone with a STRONG Indian (India) accent, asked if I owned my computer then told me I had downloaded a virus. I asked him how the hell he would know what my computer was doing from Varna Il. Told me to F#ck off after I told him not to bother trying to scam me.

This guy just called me like half an hour ago. He sounded angry and asked me if I was online right now. He said some mombo jumbo about helping me with my computer and emails and then I told him I had to go and hung up. My caller id is not working right atm so I called *69 and got the same number all of you guys got. So I googled it and here I am. Who are we supposed to report this to? I just had a bad feeling about him. He needs to be stopped.

309-474-0863 Called middle eastern  accent, my computer is going to crash in 10 days to 15 when I told him he was a scammer he changed it to seven days.
This scam was on the news never let anyone in your computer remotely they will steal all your files.

A woman calling from the technical department to help me with my computer. She said she believed I was using Windows and Internet Explorer. I said no I have a Mac. She said "Oh my goodness sorry to bother you." And I said, "Guess they gave you the wrong information to try and scam me this time." :-)

It sounded like someone calling from India. He wanted to know about my computer. We had a bad phone connection and I hung up.

Caller said he was calling about technical problems with my "Microsoft Computer".  I have a Mac!  Total Scamster.

This person tried to get me to give him remote control of my computer. I hung up and called my IT people who told me that he only had me look at error messages and in no way did this mean that I had a virus. The man called back a week or so later and when I cut him off to tell him exactly what he was going to say next, he got all excited "yes yes that's right" and I couldn't get him off the phone.

just gotta call from this same Indian fellow...When he got me to a screen that had personal info (ID's Passwords) and he needed them to help me. That's when I pulled the plug on this guy. I thought it was shady from the get-go

Got the same call just minutes ago.  I just kept saying to him what Windows? and what computer?  I figured it was a scam.  He tried to tell me that it was the computer I bought at a store and they asked him to call me about a problem.  I told him that I didn't buy a computer at any store and suggested that he remove my number from his list.  Same number 309-474-0863 and he had a very strong foreign accent I took to be middle eastern.

call received 5/22/14 at 2:30pm MST. Heavy breathing for 3 seconds. I hung up.

I said to the guy, "You want to look in my windows?  Is there something special you want me to wear?"
He said, "Nono, sir, I need to fix your windows."
I said, "I have a mexican guy to do that.  He's good with a ladder."

I don't think we understood each other very well.
