This # 309-474-0863 has called twice today he claims he is from windows and needs to fix my computer,the first time I told the guy we dont have a computer and he hung up on me. The second time he called and asked directly for my husband, and then my husband just screwed with him by pretending the phone didnt work. This is a scam.

I receive these calls at least 3 times a month. I am not one to mess with. I have asked them, if they know so much about my computer, then what windows do I have, they usually just hang up. Today I received the same call, this time a female indian woman. She threatened me and told me that something would happen to my computer tomorrow morning...and then hung up. I reported them to the FCC and if they call me again..all hell will break lose! I'm not stupid to fall for scams! Several other times I got these calls, I told them I didn't have a computer and they would hang up.

Tell this Indian idiot to NEVER call your # again - it's a phishing scam. As soon as he said "technical support for your computer" I blew a gasket on him,

Why do this evil morons continue to get away with this crap??? Imagine some poor, vulnerable not-too-computer-savvy victim getting all scared from his asinine scare tactics - GAWD!

Phone call today 5/27/14 from I guy with and Indian accent wanting to help with technical support for my windows software regarding the FBI virus.  I told him my husband worked with computers and he would fix it.  He then hung up.

I did not pick-up the phone, received calls in Wisconsin.

Went on about how he got alerts about viruses on my computer and he was going to help me fix them, knew it was a scam from the start so I played along til I asked if he would like to speak to our IT Dept to which he responded "no thank you have a good day" heavy accent, loser. Just feel so bad if someone falls for this...

Answered but no one on the line. Told them not to call here anymore. Thanks to everyone here for the info!

Called me with same scam and I had some fun  told him that it was impossible as I had gotten  same call a month ago and they fixed the problem for $199  guess what he said oh no we have to fix it right now. He fix it and only cost me $169 what a joke they never give up

I got this same middle eastern man just a few minutes ago.  Like everyone else he's telling me I have windows and a computer problem.  I told him several times this is a private number and to take my number off his list.  I told him never to call again and that I was reporting, which is what I just did.

Don't even answer the call. Ignore the call and eventually they will stop calling.

Funny thing is I don't have a computer... and this Indian dude says he us from technical support...

Losers keep calling. Don't answer if I don't know the number and there isn't a name on caller ID. Comes across "Out of Area" don't leave a message, losers just tie up my phone number (have a family member who needs access to 911 readily available!) Hope these losers don't cost him his life! Quit calling jerks.

Same thing.  After he told me to push a sequence of keys he asked what I saw on the screen.  I detailed the visual of his mother being caught in a compromising position with some farm animals.  He then hung up.  I will usually string them along a little longer but I just don't have the time tonight.

He called and I listened. We need to find out who this is.

Called our business on one of the roll over lines. They hung up without saying anything.

Yeah got a phone call today some [***] from India. I couldn't understand [***]. Something about my computer and windows. I was like oh hell no and hung up. Oh yeah that # is 1-309-474-0863 from Illinois. What a dick.

Unfortunately, you were another one who received a call fro the [***] computer scammers, who try to cheat decent folks, in order to feed their camels.

I got a call from this number this afternoon at 1:08.  The caller ID read 12022040484 as the name of the caller.  When I answered, it was just dead air.

The call you got was from an Indian scammer, calling about how you have viruses and warnings on your computer.  That is a scam going around.  I have received two of those calls. The best thing you can do is to not give out any personal information and to just hang up.
